Demeter Little Twin Stars Cologne Spray Review, Photos

I dunno about you but I really like tart citrusy scents like lemon, orange, and grapefruit. You know those ones that make you suck your lips in like a goldfish.

I do not however associate such scents with Sanrio characters like Little Twin Stars though. As you know Demeter recently introduced scents for a few of our fav Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty and My Melody.

Little Twins Tart scent is a tart grapefruit….

Let’s check her out!

Oh this is a terrible fail at least for me eep! I’m happy to have it to be honest to complete the set, yes, I’m a bit diseased like that but in the long run it really isn’t a scent I’d probably reach for daily. I do think Demeter had the potential to really make these special and so far I’m a little meh on what I have experienced.

Demeter promises a mix of exotic and unusual citrus fruits. The exotic, unusual citrus fruits just comes across as bitter, bitter grapefruit. Nothing sweet here just hardcore bitter grapefruit, quite tart but not so much so that it sweetens the note. I like grapefruit and I’m not averse to smelling like it however this comes across as a very bitter blend and doesn’t do the characters of Kiki and Lala any justice.

If you like grapefruit, you MIGHT like it but personally I thought it was very unflattering.

No likey!

I look forward to trying out the other fragrance in the range.

Have you tried Demeter’s Little Twin Stars?

What did you think?

They sure picked some odd scents for the Sanrio guys. Well Hello Kitty’s apple is fitting for her but I imagine the Little Twin Star’s being more of a cotton candy/sugary sweet smell. Just look at the bottle! It screams it!

Did you order this fragrance online? I, too, love citrus fragrances and I actually graduated from Clinique Happy to Gap’s So Pink fragrance. Guys seem to love that scent. Have you ever tried it?
