The Body Shop The Sparkler Review, Photos, Swatches

The Body Shop The Sparkler sold out online before I could blink my eye. Damn! It’s the Holy Grail of Holiday Makeup at the moment and damn near impossible to find (I checked a few stores with no luck).

Moral of the story?

If you see it, BUY it. It’s worth its weight in Scrooge’s gold!

Jump!

A limited edition atomizer that houses a fine, shimmering powder for hair, body, and face!

Ahhh the classic shimmering powder for the Holidays! It’s a timeless piece that many a makeup brand embraces. The Body Shop embraces the tradition with their own variation and spin on the Holiday classic with The Sparkler.

The Body Shop’s versions features a flirty shimmering vintage pink bottle that houses a silky, shimmering powder you can mist on shoulders, face, or even in hair for a hint of cheerful Holiday sparkle!

Part of the novelty of the product would be it’s not traditional holiday gold and silver colors but comes in pink, what girl or woman do you know that doesn’t love pink?

Since its release it has sold out fairly quickly online and in shops making it quite the hot commodity this Holiday season! Blame it on all that gorgeous pink packaging!

The shimmer adds just the right touch to a finished makeup look without overdoing it however if you’re not one for sparkle on your face you can mist it on your arms and shoulders, legs, or even in your hair, the possibilities are endless!

Nothing bad here….

  • Sparkle, shimmer lovers!
  • Anyone wanting to add a little sparkle to their Holiday makeup looks!
  • Anyone who loves girlishly good packaging (the vintage perfume style bottle will make you swoon).

  • Shimmer, sparkle haters (if you don’t dig the sparkle, don’t bother).

Although it’s proving a bit of a challenge to track down I highly suggest taking the adventure because this is well worth checking out and is a rather novel little piece of delicious makeup to add to your stash. It makes a pretty little vanity piece as well! The Body Shop makeup collections are always such a pleasure and Holiday 2010 proves promising!

The Body Shop Sparkler is very Muse Approved for purchase!

Keep your eyes peeled on www.thebodyshop-usa.com to see it pops back into stock soon!

Did you get lucky enough to score this at your local Body Shop?

Loving it?
