Mariah Carey Luscious Pink Parfum Spray Review, Photos

Any fans of Mariah Carey fragrances? I was checking out Lollipop Bling over the Holidays but dare I say that they might prove too sweet for me? I know, must have to have my head examined when I’m going around saying things are too sweet for me, I’m Queen of giving myself a tooth ache with my fragrance choices.

Tried out Mariah Carey Luscious Pink recently as well and I thought….

First off absolutely adored the Limited Edition packaging available from HSN Beauty. Granted it’s pink with a huge butterfly on the topper, hello, so totally appealing to my girlish good nature! But it also sports pink Swarovski Element crystals on the butterfly cap for an extra touch of gorgeous! It’s a bottle that will grace your vanity with some extra beauty for sure.

The fragrance matches the bottle as this is a soft, delicate feminine blend that features dominate floral notes. For the most part I get heavy pink peony notes however notes of creamy sandalwood and white musk entwines with the peony and creates a lighter scent. I believe lily and tiare come through a bit as well but for the most part I feel like the one middle note of peony and two of the base notes of musk and sandalwood come through the most. The scent lingers well and has a delicate but solid throw.

If you like more softer, delicate floral blends that can work in the day or the evening, Mariah Carey Luscious Pink Parfum will appeal.

Anyone try it?

Love it?

This was too sweet for me also. After Christmas the drugstores had 50% off their fragrances. My girlfriend went shopping for me and picked me up many different brands. I did tell her not to pick up any Mariah Carey. I do have one which is the purple butterfly bottle. I forget what the name is. My girlfriend picked up Paris Hilton fragrances. There were 4 in the kit. I almost flipped. I can’t stand her and didn’t want the fragrance. I smelled them and I can’t believe that I like them. One does smell like shampoo to me. Very clean fragrance. I don’t know if I’ll send her shopping for me next time after Christmas!
