I love the liquid and the powder versions of this, and with winter kicking Texas in the rump, I need more moisture. I would give it a whirl if I can find it in my area.

I have tried a bunch of Neutrogena foundations and most look either too pale or too yellow. The pigments don’t disperse evenly. Icky formulations either way.

I saw them at Walgreens tonight and they looked pretty dark. Unfortunately, there were no testers available.

Oooohhh this looks interesting. SPF 55! Hopefully they have my shade. I wasn’t too excited about Almay’s powder foundation or revlons or Maybeline’s either, but I might try this.

I’m a typical natural red head which means I am very pale no color at all. Natural ivy works great for me to those of you worried. They look dark but they blend very well. Not a big fan of this product I think I’m allergic to something in it but it goes on smooth and covers well and blends well. I would recomend it!

Do you think they’ll make a powder with SPF 55? The Physician’s Formula ones are too pink for me and my skin is too oily for creams 🙁

  • Sara

You know, I was excited about this, as I love my Physician’s formula spf foundation (powder), but powders are so drying to my poor skin these days. Unfortunately, after seeing them in person, even the lightest of these Neutrogena ones is about ten shades too dark. 🙁

Have you seen them in stores yet? Does one look close enough for you?

sara all look very beige to me and def none looked close enough for me to try 🙁

Don’t let that fool you, Muse. Just about all drugstore foundations look beige-ish (Rimmel foundation is beige up the yin-yang!). I’m just about as fair as you, if not fairer. Whenever you find yourself at the drugstore again, take a look at the liquid healthy skin foundation by Neutrogena. I swear, the compact and the liquid version is identical. I wear Natural Ivory and it’s a perfect match in both!

Ulta recently had a 2 for $16. sale in my area on Neutrogena foundations and after reading much hype about the Healthy Skin liquid foundation, I decided to buy both the liquid and the cream compact. They both work wonderfully! I’m not a Neutrogena fan, but their foundations (liquids and creams anyway) are great! Especially when Ulta has them on sale! I highly recommend both.

I love the liquid version! Going to buy the compact today. Rite Aid as Neutrogena on sale with a 40% off this week.

I’m a NW20 & I wear the 40 nude color and it matches perfectly. I’m now gonna have to try this compact version. I’ve only used the liquid version of this. I use a F80 sigma flat top kubuki to apply or the beauty blender for lighter coverage. I have oily skin and i haven’t had any major problems wearing it. I’m indoors alot so it holds up well here in the Texas heat and good in the mild mid Texas winters. Well I’m really liking this it will replace my Benefit some kind of gorgeous compact.
