Jill Stuart Valentine’s Day Collection Heart Gloss Trio Review, Swatches, Photos

Valentine’s Day is almost here! I’m not a big supporter or fan of the Holiday as I simply do not believe you need one day of the year to make someone you love feel special. Seriously? You should be making them feel that way all year round right?

But I’m all about makeup collections themed around the holiday! Seriously, V-Day Makeup Collections have so much potential, why are brands not cashing in on this cow?

This year, Jill Stuart brings a special Valentine’s Day Collection Heart Gloss Trio to Asia. I couldn’t resist having a friend pick it up for me.

Check it!

This is terribly sweet! The glosses come in a pink tin that sports the Jill Stuart namesake on the cover. Inside each gloss lays on a tissue paper chocolate cup giving them the appearance of a sweet or a truffle. Presentation is darling on this so if you did have plans to gift it for V-Day, packaging is truly fitting.

The three glosses are mini size and each have a silver cap with a large heart. The glosses have a highly emollient formula and run on the thick, gooey side with a super glossy, shiny finish and a hint of rose-y, fruity flavor. They wear quite well and can be easily built up for a nice pop of color.

Shades include Sweet Rendezvous (fuchsia pink), Cross my Heart (red), and Platonic Romance (nude beige). All the shades aside from Platonic Romance apply with a bit of pigmentation that gives lips a softer, poutier look.

If you love it as much as me the downside is that it isn’t sold stateside. Le sigh! Tracking it down online yields results of a $50 price tag or so which isn’t too bad however factor in airmail costs and things get a bit high.

Overall, it’s a cute offering and probably will be a must have for Jill Stuart fans.

Loves it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

    They look gorgeous!!
I was so relieved when i read on and saw they were individually packaged, lip palettes are the worst IMO, especially with powders beside them :S

and i was wondering if you have a holy grail products section or list?
ive been stalking your blog for a while and wasnt sure if i skipped over it teehee 😉

That is so adorable! I picked up a Jill Stuart blush last month, I don’t think I can justify anymore splurges on Jill Stuart but this is darling for sure.
