Lorac Multiplex 3D Lipgloss Duo Review, Swatches, Photos
Lorac packages up two of their popular 3D Lipglosses in one spot for Spring 2011 plus cut the cost so you get two great glosses at a value price.
Loves it!
Let’s check ’em out.
A set of two glam shades of Multiplex 3D Lip Gloss.
I haven’t tried Lorac MUltiplex 3D Lipgloss. I’ve been meaning to pick up a few shades but for some reason never got around to it.
The gloss is a paraben-free formula that contains holographic pigments for multidimensional finish. You get two glosses for $28 versus one for $22 so it’s like you’re getting one gloss at full value and the other for $6 or you can just say you’re paying $14 per gloss. Kinda a nice deal no matter which way you dice it.
The formula of the gloss is super duper glittery and almost iridescent like in finish. It runs a tad on the sticky side but applies easily and smoothly. Worn alone I get an opaque finish with an intense glittery finish and a tiny touch of color. Worn on lipstick I get a really dramatic pop up shimmer overload that makes my lips look super pouty and full. If your lips run a bit thinner this is a great one for topping on your lipstick for a fuller lip. Although loaded with shimmer the texture isn’t grainy, gritty, or unpleasant to apply. It doesn’t run extra thick but has just the right consistency to feel and wear comfortably. I get about four to five hours wear time sans drinking or eating.
The two shades they include with the set are 3D (rose bronze with 3D glitter) and 4D (bubble gum pink with 3D glitter). I liked 3D the best as it was the flattering of the two since I don’t wear bubble gum shades of pink so well, a bit warmer on the pink and I’d have probably loved 4D but regardless it still works well with warmer berry shades of lipstick!
The amount of glitter and shimmer in the formula may not be for everyone. Do keep in mind this is hardcore shimmer prior to your purchase.
- Those who desire the illusion of a fuller lip look.
- Those wanting more for less (You’re getting two for the price of one here almost!).
- Those who love shimmery, glittery lipglosses.
- Glitter, Shimmer, and Sparkle haters (if you can’t stand such a finish, avoid these, as they really bring the glitter).
I really liked these alot and could easily see myself indulging in other shades. Too bad they don’t have several shade options available as I’d love to buy them as a duo considering it’s a saying of $16 bucks. If you love glitter these are a given! Truly they give lips a really lovely fuller look.
Quite satisfied and feel like they deserve a Muse Approval for price, formula, and quality.
Loved!
