Clinique Lid Smoothie Antioxidant 8 Hour Eye Color

Clinique Lid Smoothie Antioxidant 8-Hour Eye Color is a brand new color eyeshadow that Clinique is adding to their “Smoothie” Collection.

Let’s take a look!

These are available in six shades and contain caffeine, antioxidants, cucumber, and aloe with a cooling applicator for application. You can use these on their own or with powder on top for a more intense effect.

Shades Include:

  • Bit a Honey
  • Sassy-Fras
  • Cute-umber
  • Pinkgo Biloba
  • Born Freesia
  • Currant Affair

The cooling applicator sounds very interesting plus the fact these act like a primer as well as a shadow seems to be the trend of the moment with both Covergirl and Bare Escentuals having similar products.

I’m not sure the exact launch on this as I found the info on Beauty Insider, a Russian beauty blog, but count me curious when they do hit our counters. I suspect Fall.

Thank goodness the fashion/beauty world follows 4 season countries. Imagine if they followed tropical seasons. “Coming this wet season” anyone? hahahaha

Who’s responsible for naming those colors?!
Dear Clinique, “Pinkgo Biloba” doesn’t sound nearly as good as you think it does. Urgh.

Word on the street is, they are discontinuing the cream shadow in the tubes, I wonder if this will replace them?

  • Aging_Beauty

Oooooh please make them a satiny finish or even matte, not all shimmery! I hope these replace their fabulous discontinued Touch Tint tubes. They were amazing on their own or as a base.

  • Annabella Freeman

I’m with Kaynn those names are lame but I love the look of them. The olive green one looks lush!

Purchased Sassy-Fras yesterday. Had high hopes, but alas, after just 2 hours it’s creasing. : (
