From one end of the world to the other, within the three centers of the Guerlain Orchidarium (the Experimental Garden in Switzerland, the Basic Research Laboratory in France, and the Exploratory Nature Reserve in China), top international experts continuously exchange their expertise, research, and the results of their applied experiments, to uncover the secrets of longevity of this legendary flower. Three Orchid species were chosen from among 30,000 studied and together they form the New-Generation Imperial Orchid Molecular Extract. Together these orchids combine to create an internal and external longevity protection system utilized in our new Orchidee Imperiale Longevity Concentrate. Results are skin is immediately smoothed and tightened as if lifted, gradually all signs of aging are reduced as the formula acts on wrinkles, firmness, density, radiance, and stretched pores, and the surface texture of the skin becomes finer and more even.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. DIEING to see the Fall Rouge Gs…I am tossing around the idea of getting one even though it’d be a huge splurge (normal high-end lipstick is a huge splurge at $30….). But I am in awe of the tube design and I keep hearing how amazing the formula of the actual lipstick is x_x. I’d need to see real swatches first, but even the one in the picture is lovely although a bit dark.

    • the Muse

Tammie the packaging is very, very luxe! I have one and adore it simply for the amazing packaging ;-D but the formula def rocks the boat as well ;D! well worth the cash!

      • Tammie

No kidding haha! The luxe-est if you ask me xD. If I can find the right color I really really want to get one of these!

        • the Muse

;-D looking forward to your thoughts if you snag one Tammie!

          • Tammie

I’ll definitely let you (and the world haha) know 😀

  • Karyn

Oh Guerlain, I can always pass on your spring & summer collections but your fall and winter KILL me. I must have Garconne! I always feel a bit ack when I get Rouge Gs (I have 2 so far) but it seriously is the best formula out there for my lips 🙁

  • Reme

@Tammie; go for it and treat yourself to a Rouge G, you really won’t regret it! As the Muse said they’re “very luxe”, also they’re very weighty and have such as amazing packaging design. I was in awe when I got one at Christmas… 🙂

For this collection, I’ll be getting a quad and a lippie, very excited to see/swatch them in person and pick my shades!

    • Tammie

Oh Reme you don’t have to convince me haha. I just want to see the colors for Fall, “Girly” sounds particularly nice since it’s pink. I like the bold/deep colors but for $47 it has to kind of be a color I’ll wear often.

I’ve played around with the case in store, it’s really awesome. Other high-end brands are pretty luxe but the Rouge G packaging really takes the cake haha.

Anyways basically I know I want to get a Rouge G, I am just looking for the right color that is worth paying that much for too xD

  • Musebeliever

I WANT ALL THE QUADS ! xD I love les violets et les bois de roses.
    Unfortunately Guerlain is sooo price-y…
I think I’d rather have the YSL quad in purple. YSL colour pay off is often better than Guerlain that tends to be irregular in quality.

Guerlain is probably going to make it easy for me to pass with their prices. ALthough their stuff is very beautiful.
I have a ROuge G in Geisha – It’s also engraved with the word Glamorous or something of that nature. I got it during a F&F and I also had a $10 credit. It was still a huge splurge. I love taking the case out but at the same time I am angered that they do not make refills. I know it’s highend but I still think highend should think about being green. It’s such a waste to throw away the case. If I ever get down to digging it out with a lipbrush I’m sure I’ll find a way to refill the bugger.

oh man i spewed all kinds of non-sense when i saw this post. I want all of the chanel release and i can’t do that AND all of this one…. I agree about the lippies so we’ll have to see what the budget looks like I might need this one dark reds are so me.
