NARS Larger Than Life Long Wear Eyeliners

Fall, a time for new eyeliners?

I guess so if NARS tells me that’s the case.

NARS Larger Than Life Long Wear Eyeliners are a new creamy, smudge-proof eyeliner with a long lasting finish.

Let’s take a look!

These soft touch mechanical pencils feature a built in sharpener and a cream formula that promises wears throughout the day boasting boasting Italian beauty Mariacarla Boscono as the face of the campaign.

Shades Available:

Via Veneto (deep black)
One of the most famous streets in Rome, Italy. Federico Fellini’s classic 1960 film La Dolce Vita was mostly centered around the Via Veneto area.

Santa Monica Blvd (crisp white)
One of the most famous streets in Los Angeles County, California.

Via Appia (copper brown)
One of the earliest and strategically most important Roman roads of the ancient republic.

Abbey Road (iridescent turquoise)
A street in London, England, after which the Beatles named one of their albums.

Bourbon Street (festive purple)
A famous and historic street that spans the length of the French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana. When founded in 1718, the city was originally centered around the French Quarter.

Rue Bonaparte (light almond)
Laid down in the 16th Century, this French street accommodated some very fine distinctive mansions. Today it is an upscale home to fashion shops.

Rue Saint-Honoré (deep royal blue)
The rue Saint-Honoré is an ancient street in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. It is named after the collegial Saint-Honoré church situated in ancient times within the cloisters of Saint-Honoré.

Madison Avenue (slate gray)
An avenue in New York City, that’s name has been synonymous with the American advertising industry since the 1920s.

Rue de Rivoli (metallic forest green)
One of the most famous streets of Paris that features some of the most fashionable shops in the world.

The liners are $23 each and available now at narscosmetics.com

Umm they don’t look mechanical to me?

On that note, I will say I’ll probably haul at least one. I used to own an amazing aqua shade of liner from NARS and the formula was ridiculously creamy…I think it was called Parrot…this was YEARS ago. Time to re-indulge in NARS eyeliners me thinks!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. true rachel 🙂 saw that but the top still looks like a pencil ;-D!

  • lola

the color range is pretty nice, do u think they are comparable to urban decay eyeliners or better?

    • the Muse

Can’t compare the two lola having never tried the nars ones sorry.

  • Quinctia

Maybe they twist up? The bottom looks like it might have two parts. Who knows, I’m not a fan of gimmicky eyeliner dispensers.

  • Josh :D

Thank goodness! Whenever I work NARS events, I hate the fact that we have no reliable liners minus the Le Stylo…which isn’t always perfect for the situation. HOORAY! <3

  • Jeanne

I see a split in the colored part at the bottom that maybe looks like it can twist? If it twists up though I wonder how you could get the tip sharp again. I hope these aren’t anything like the Soft Touch Shadow Pencil – that creased on me even with the NARS Smudge Proof Base and a NARS Eyeshadow on top!

  • Majick

THe colors are really pretty. It looks like they may twist up kind of like a skinny version of the tarte lip stains.

    • the Muse

yeah majick…they still look like pencils though from the neck up ;D!

  • Mei

Looks good but not too sure of the “lastvitiy”! I got a liquid one recently. It smudges like crazy despite the MA told me it’s a super waterproof one. BOO HOO! Wasted my money totally.

  • mia wallace

I’ve tried and they stay FOREVER no kidding!! and it’s amazing like even the most sparkling colors write inside the eyelid

  • mia wallace

they are twist up, they also have a sharpener
the great thing is the creaminess of the texture, the glide and of course the wear: more than 24 hours (tried on me!)
