Bath and Body Works Slatkin & Co. ScentPortables Spiced Cider Review

Here’s a glimpse at one of the new (there are a few to choose from) Bath and Body Works Slatkin & Co. ScentPortables because I obviously have nothing better to do but torture you with Halloween in Summer.

Jump!

Bath and Body Works Slatkin & Co. ScentPortables are refillable clip on, glorified air fresheners. You can place these in your car, locker, etc…and it will diffuse scent without the use of batteries, flames, etc….

Scent disks are supposed to last for over a month or more but in my experience they go rather quickly particularly when used in a car. Bath and Body Works has a few Halloween themed ones available to cheer up your small spaces with a bit of Halloween scented goodness!

Although I am terrifed of spiders I actually collect various bric a brac that has spiders on it. Like totes, my massive vintage spider pin collection, etc…! The irony!

Spiced Cider is a warm Fall blend that features apples spiced with nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves.

And yes, the cool, immature kid in me loves the fact this glows in the dark.

These are $6 each and you can purchase refills for $5.

Available now at Bath and Body Works.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I purchased the pink glitter skull one but I can’t stand the scent (vanilla cupcake i think). My whole car smells like a bakery and it makes me slightly nauseous and very hungry! The skull is cute though so I’ll probably just end up buying a different refill for it.

Ditto here, Courtney! I love cupcake scent in theory (well, really in NAME, actually) but it’s totally cloying up my car right now!

This is adorable! All I got here are boring air fresheners for car…too bad they dont sell Bath&body works here….

Fall is really a comin’! Yippee! Your BBW Halloween posts are making me itch for colored leaves! 🙂

  • Majick

personally I hate BBW – they irritate my nose/throat and then I end up with a migraine.
BUT – LOVE that darn little spider! (Once again Muse I think we were separated at birth – do you have a thing for snakes as well?) I have some very cool buggy/spidey/snakey vintage jewelry.

hey majick really depends on the scent for me. Some BBW is nice but it all depends ;-D Not snakes…but def spiders girl ;-D! I have a few snake pieces too as well as other bugs but I have a really major collection of spider ones! It’s so weird because I am terrified of them! ;-D!

      • Majick

i’m not terrified – although when they scamper across your arm whilst reading the paper it’s a little unnerving. LOL (and, spidey bites HURT! I’m just sayin’).
I just think they look very nice done up in marcasites. 🙂

BBW – some stuff smells ok but whatever the chemical or base stuff they use gets to me after about 15 minutes. I have weird scent issues – more about the chemical than the smell. Tide detergent and smelly fabric softeners are the worst for me. I can’t even go to the gym anymore because I end up not being able to breathe. It’s awful. ;-(
