Bath & Body Works Liplicious Crazy for Candy Corn Lipgloss Review, Swatches, Photos

Ahh Candy Corn.

The irony of candy corn is I love the way it smells, I love the way it looks, I even purchase bags of it during Halloween to keep on my desk in a jar at my office….but I technically don’t like it. Nasty azz candy. Yuk!

But hey, love the idea of it….!

Jump!

Bath & Body Works Crazy for Candy Corn Lipgloss is one of ten, count ’em, ten new glosses for Halloween. Yay for variety. Keep making them and I’ll keep buying them!

Crazy for Candy is a triple layer gloss that starts off with a shimmering white, a middle layer of gold shimmer, and a top layer of orange. The colors actually don’t combine so you’re kinda stuck using white for a while before it hits the gold and vice versa with the gold before the orange.

The flavor doesn’t really taste sport on like Candy Corn since it has alot of vanilla in the mix but regardless it’s still quite tasty and should be appealing if you like food-y, cake-y flavored glosses.

Liplicious Lipglosses are an ickle crummy in the wear department but they have a nice shiny finish that works great on top of lipstick or on their own just be prepared for constant touch ups.

Available now at Bath and Body Works.

Which Halloween Liplicious Glosses have you hauled so far?

No gasping strawberries (or corns)? No thank you.

Candy corn is indeed, hands-down the assiest candy of all candies. I feel you on the smell, but holy god the flavor is sooo bad! And the texture doesn’t do any favors either! Candy corn is what naughty children get for Halloween………………..and also what gets pelted at the naughty children!

Haven’t hauled any of these guys yet since I haven’t been to a B&BW lately. Last time they just had a few ‘Weenie things out so I was giving them a little more time to flesh out the stock. Thanks for keeping us on the up n’ up about what’s available! I like having a cohesive list when shopping. 🙂

lol too true sara…! my pleasure! they have dollar shipping at the moment if you wanna order online ;-D!

I hate candy corn too, when my friends and I would trade candy after a long night of trick or treating that would always be in my ‘to trade’ pile, LOL! Does it really taste like vanilla though?

I agree about the wear time though, I have a gloss from them in the Vanilla Latte flavor… But they feel really good on, no? 🙂

LOL Lauren! Also lollipops used to be in my to trade pile ;-D! yeah, it has alot of vanilla, it’s a little candy corn but a good deal of caramel-y vanilla to it too. They feel amazing and work fab on top of lippies but the wear time is suckage sadly!

Regular Candy Corn is ‘meh’. Got to get the Indian Candy Corn with the chocolate stripe. Also, check for gourmet flavors. I got some from Walmart a few years a go, in Pumpkin flavor & Apple flavor I think, and they were really good.

even Indian candy corn auro, can’t do it :-/ never tried the apple and pumpkin flavors though yum!

Oh yeah, the fancy flavors are pretty good. I still don’t like eating them, though. :p I will say that if you make a crazy sweet popcorn at home (like a kettle corn-style) you can melt those bastards down a la “making caramel sauce” to make a glaze that you then cover popcorn with. It’s not bad. Weird and not good for you, but doesn’t taste too bad.

I have a fun story, my good friend looooooves candy corn. She had the Candy Corn Philosophy soap last Halloween too. Her current bf haaaaates it vehemently. I am evil and pointed out to her the candy corn lipgloss from philosophy and now will tell her about this one too. Bwahahaha.

I on the other hand love peppermint smells… I think that one’s a little more like the color blue. More people might like it than hate it. Haha.

I think I’m the only person in the world who loooooves the way candy corn looks, smells, and tastes. XD

The only real reason I’m commenting on this post now, so late is because I saw this on the BBW website catalog. Are they re-releasing their Halloween lip glosses? Because that would make me seriously happy! 😀
