About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Now we’re talking! Come on September, I can hardly wait, I want most of the collection. Already have the reintroduction colors.

  • Misato-san

I love the promo image of this collection and the fact the stuff are going to be added in the permanent range. So I can skip it as a collection but study it, reading about it and I will choose what to try on myself without hurry. What a relief!

  • Mary the Muse Militant

All these pieces and nothing grabs me at all.
I hardly ever wear lipstick as I go heavy on the eyes and most of the eyeshadows in the collection are frost which I steer clear of.
    A relief really, money wise.

  • Liz!

I am loving the promo image for this collection! I’m stoked about the eye shadows, they excite me more than the ones from MAC Me Over actually! I may pick up a few shadesticks from Mac Me Over, but will save most of my pesos for these babies!

  • Josie

I’m hoping those eyeshadow will be similar to the Peacocky ones which i love! Looks like a nice collection but the Canadian prices are crazy! Lipsticks are $20, the glosses are $22, and these eyeshadows are set at $24 each!! Too bad we can’t could B2M for them but i still might pick up a few things depending how much i like them!

  • Daniela

Whoa whoa hold on MAC..The eyeshadows are 20 bucks a piece? What am I missing here?

    • the Muse

Daniela believe these are the bigger ones, like the mac peacocky release 🙂 thus the price jack

      • Daniela

Oh ok gotcha..ever since I bought pro palettes I can’t be bothered with shadows I can’t depot…neat freakishness I guess. That’s too bad

        • the Muse

ah I don’t depot but I really should Daniela def keeps things more organized…you can prob depot these as well but where to put them?! larger size prevents ’em from being used in regular mac palette!

          • Daniela

I’m trying to lie to myself as we speak and say there is no palette in the world that could possibly fit them but we all know I’ll cave:) Ahhh the life of an addict.

  • Laura

You know, I was a lipgloss girl for a long time – but this collection and the new release this August, I have my eye on a bunch of new lipsticks!

  • Cj

So! Patience Please, Infinitely Likable, and Whoops! lipglasses are calling for me and I think Carefree eyeshadow might make a good hilight color, it looks more gold than short shorts. 😀 Can’t wait till swatches!

  • telle

i will be adding dark as night pro-long wear lipglass…as for shadows, have to see and play with them…! 🙂
