Laura Geller Blush n’ Brighten Blush Hibiscus Review, Swatches, Photos

Laura Geller has started offering some of her QVC Today’s Special Value sets at retailers. The sets have a tendency to appear on QVC first but within a few months to a year they end up renamed and made available at retailers like Ulta.

Products included in the sets also become available in the general catalog or other sets which is the lead in for this post.

This is actually a reader’s request as someone was curious about the Blush and Brighten in Hibiscus that was included with the Laura Geller Escape to the Tropics Set that I got from QVC.

Hibiscus has not been made available yet anywhere else however a similar set called Toast of the Town is available for the Holidays that is very similar to Escape to the Tropics if you missed out.

Of course, at this point, Hibiscus is best located on Evil-bay but give it time I’m positive the shade will pop up soon from Laura.

I have alot of Blush and Brighten Blushes on my love list but Hibiscus did fail to make it there so don’t get too gaga about needing to have it.

The blush is a light pinky peach, heavy on the pink with swirls of gold and purple. The color isn’t heavy on the shimmer in my opinion but has more of a chalky formula and a sheered color pay off. It flushes cheeks a delicate shade of baby pink. I imagine if you’re super fair the color might be flattering…..!

As for me, I wasn’t too impressed! As beautiful as it appears swatched, I simply didn’t see the same finish or shade on my cheeks sadly!

Own it?

Ihave this and find it very natural and subtle but I’m porcelain and as you rightly say muse it’s probably too pale for anyone but the almost transparent.

Im about as pale as it gets, so, this colour would work for me. Just like benefit’s georgia, I tried it on medium-fair friends and it looked quite odd.
