Urban Decay Midnight Emergency Kit

I’m thinking….

I’m still thinking…

Mmm I don’t believe I’ve ever really had a makeup emergency. How about you? I mean I’ve read of emergencies that have included waxing off an entire eyebrow or yanking out an entire fringe of lashes with an eyelash curler but I’ve personally never experienced an emergency so big that I had to dial 911 plus I’m betting the operator wouldn’t take to kindly to me yelling on the phone about how “OMG I just waxed my eyebrow off please send implant halp!” Although I’m all about creating a number exclusively for these types of emergencies. Say….111…that would be the number you could dial during these dire situations and the operator would instantly send you a makeup ambulance filled with professional makeup artists to help you in your time of great need.

Speaking of emergencies Urban Decay created the Midnight Emergency Kit for quickie looks on the go when your face is having its own emergency.

Jump!

I saw this a few weeks ago on another blog or some other promo, I think it was the sephora thing i emailed you about. While i think its beautiful and i am a sucker for purples and love the MC lip junkie, I think I will pass on this one, for the $39, i can get the whole Mariposa set that is a mix of textures and colors.

that’s very true! I’m tempted by the midnight rodeo as I adore cowboy…;-D

Oh gosh lol. I’m very protective of my eyebrows, I’m always scared when i’m using like a peel off mask or something, that i’ll accidentally take half of it off or something lol. I’d hate to have to draw on my eyebrows =X

sooooo incredibly sick and tired of UD putting out the same colors in umpteen bajillion palettes. >:(

    Hmmmmpht!

Seriously Agree!! I hate hate hate to see a potentially cool palette go to waste b/c they reuse the same glitter spastic colors over and over again. If i see another midnight cowboy rides again inspired color I think I will barf glitter.

This isn’t an emergency kit by my definition. If my eye waters, I will need an eye liner and mascara. Then gloss to touchup my lips. God forbid I have to blow my nose so I need a face touchup in concealer/powder. Eyeshadows are the least of my worries.

I love the shadows, however I don’t think I would pay $39 for the kit. Also, my makeup emergency kit would not include 4 different eye shadows and lip gloss, maybe just 1 or 2 shadows, small tube of mascara, and some concealer!

Midnight Rodeo is pretty tits mcgee. It’s one of my favorites from the UD anniversary palette. Since the palette was just a bit more than this one is, I’d go for the anniversary palette and end up with most of these shadows, plus eleven more. I hate these little four shadow tiny guys for big money. Especially since they don’t have a true highlighter color. Have you seen Midnight Cowboy under my brow bone? It’s a disaster! Chunks of glitter every where and lines of beige. Being pale means I need an equally pale shadow. Sheesh.

Want! But it does look like the Midnight Cowboy palette they put out a few months ago. I am a sucker for the Midnight Cowboy colors…I know a lot of people hate them for the glitter fallout, but using Pixie Epoxy solves that issue for me! I’ll be looking into this one 🙂

I am going to rain on everyones parade and say I LOVE it, want it, even need it. As for the emergency part, if I have a problem its usually with my eyeliner/mascara, not eyeshadow/lip gloss. Still its cute and I love that purply shade. However if it isn’t being sold at sephora I won’t be getting it. UD doesn’t ship to Canada, the buggers 🙁

I like this if it’s sleek and purse sized- for me it would be better if they had included blotting papers or a transluscent blotting powder
