Tarte Eye Candy Waterproof Amazonian Clay Shadow Wand 1

Tarte has released the new six piece Eye Candy Waterproof Amazonian Clay Shadow Wand set that I told you about earlier last week. The set has debuted with a little bit of a discount and is offered for $26.84 rather than the $29.

The set includes:

  • Tarte emphasEYES Amazonian Clay Shadow Stick in Charcoal
  • Tarte emphasEYES Amazonian Clay Shadow Stick in Champagne
  • Tarte emphasEYES Amazonian Clay Shadow Stick in Bronze
  • Tarte emphasEYES Amazonian Clay Shadow Stick in Moss
  • Tarte emphasEYES Amazonian Clay Shadow Stick in Taupe
  • Tarte emphasEYES Amazonian Clay Shadow Stick in Plum

Tarte Eye Candy Waterproof Amazonian Clay Shadow Wand 02

These shadows are infused with Amazonian Clay and twist up up to reveal a extended wear, waterproof eyeshadow.

I ordered this set for myself as I really want to check these out and compare them to MAC Shadesticks. The product is actually new to Tarte as I’ve never seen these before.

The set is available exclusively at QVC.com

I just ordered them too! Looking forward to your review 🙂 I am/was a big fan of Shadesticks.

I have the bronze. It came in a tsv a while back. I was wondering when they’d come out for sale separately. A set is even better.

I don’t think these are new- I got one in a gift set from Ulta about a year ago, and I know my mother in law has a few of these too. But strangely, I don’t see them on Tarte’s website. I wonder if they discontinued them for a while, but are bringing them back now…

I ordered a set this weekend. I have the bronze one from a previous set and it is absolutely a dream to apply and it wears so well, too. I don’t get any creasing throughout the day and the formula is so creamy, I think they are much better than MAC’s shadesticks for that reason alone!

The bronze stick was in a “Try Me” kit on the Q some time ago (at least several months). I was wondering if Tarte would be bringing these back and expanding the color selection.

These remind me of Laura Mercier’s Caviar eye sticks that were new? this fall. I loved those!

Damn you Muse! *bonk* I was hedging on these since I got the Buxom Armed and Dangerous Kit and kinda use that as a quick smoky smudgy eyeshadow in a hurry but then I saw this post……

How does the texture of these compare to the pots? I’ve never tried this format before, but I’m wary of buying pot anything from Tarte (had a brand new eyeliner pot dry out in a month and was unable to rehydrate it, so never again).

I do have one of their pot eyeshadows and like it, but use it as a base since the Taupe colour itself is not too flattering on me (I have darker eyelids, so need some brightening to not look sick). Couldn’t find swatches anywhere for these, are they more matte or shimmery?

I haven’t tried ’em hun. sorry?! 🙁 but soon as I do will review ;-D I don’t have any swatches just this image…sorry! If I get any will of course post 🙂

lol I already bought it, couldn’t help myself. Still immensely curious what you think though.

I’m kinda limited in my skincare & cosmetic purchases b/c of allergies, and there weren’t many reasonably priced cream eyeshadows around so I splurged a little 😛

I sure hope so, I like the ease of cream for when I’m in a hurry and as a base for my Tarte powder eyeshadows since some aren’t too pigmented (but they don;t make my eyes itch like UD).

I always love reading your reviews and all the posts from everyone here, it feels like talking to good friends about a shared interest (considered frivolous and silly by a lot of people I know), though I most certainly may never meet any of you in person.
