Pixi Magic Tink Tint Review, Swatches, Photos

Are you getting excited for the Pixi Glow Collection? I am!

Dude, it’s a Disney collaboration, what’s not to get excited ’bout here right?

Pixi teamed up with Disney and our darling Tinkerbell to create a gorgeous little collection of Spring goodies that Tink herself would probably squeal over.

I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the collection early but you’ll be able to get your greedy little hands on it soon from Target.com and Target.

Let’s take a little peek at the Pixi Magic Tink Tint ($16)!

Jump!

Think happy thoughts and your lips will turn a delightful shade of pink! Pixi Magic Tink Tint is a gel crayon that turns a custom shade of pink on lips. This paraben-free formula has a moisturizing formula with a shiny finish and a burst of fresh peppermint taste.

I’m not really into the entire “custom shade” technology as you know but Magic Tink Tint (say that three times fast) turns a rather delightful shade of natural pink on my lips for an MLBB (my lips but better) look.

The box this comes in is decorated with touches of Spring in the form of tiny flowers and vines and of course Tink’s signature adorns it. The actual pencil is a chubby twist up design much like Tarte’s Lip Surgence Tints.

The formula is a gel so it glides on lips smoothly and has a moisturizing feel with a nice shiny finish. It has a short wear time in terms of the finish remaining shiny but the actual pink stain will last about three hours before fading away.

I think that the design and the idea behind this collection is extremely cute and of course very marketable to us makeup junkies who put importance on packaging but the actual formula of the product is quite lovely too and the delicate shade of pink is a flattering color for Spring.

Loves it.

Word is Target.com will have the Pixi Glow Collection as soon as January 29th.

Very Muse Approved for purchase.

Woot! I’m so glad you reviewed this lol, I was drawn to it when you posted about the collection 😀 I am definitely going to pick this up as soon as I see it. One question tho, you said it stains, do you think it could double as a cheek stain?

hey it’s cute! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I opened it, didn’t realize it was one of those custom stain things and I got a bit worried and was thinking OMG mod pink! Sure, I use the Tarte ones on my cheeks ;-D and you’re extra fair so you’ll get a delicate flush of bubblegum pink if you wanna try it on your cheeks!

Awesome 😀 I love the whole pencil packaging lol, I ordered urban decay’s concealed pencil last night too 😛 Along with perversion which I realized I already had from one of the sets a while ago lol!

I am such a packaging wh0re! I need this whole set! just after putting myself on a “no induldging in new cosmetics” ban this adorable set comes out. I think that I’m going to pretend that I forgot about the ban and get it anyways.

I probably should start using mine more…the only reason I haven’t been is because I don’t want to have to buy a new one every month haha. But never using it is no good and it’s not LE so I should really start using it more often..
