Bobbi Brown Brightening Nudes Collection

Good Morning!

Hope everyone had a nice long weekend. I woke up this morning to the birds singing (seriously, Spring has arrived in New York), a lovely cuppa tea, and the Bobbi Brown Brightening Nudes Collection. All is right with the world.

Brightening Nudes brings back some of my all time favorite eyeshadows shades and a brand new powder that some of us might be terribly excited to get our greedy little hands on.

Take a look, tell me what you think you might NEED!

Bobbi Brown Brightening Finishing Powder $50
This all-over powder instantly illuminates and gives skin a healthy-looking glow. It’s infused with a skin brightening blend of Mulberry, Grape and Scutellaria Extracts, as well as Sodium Hyaluronate to help keep skin fresh and smooth looking. Palette includes a mirror for perfect application.

Bobbi Brown Brightening Lipgloss $23
This sheer highly reflective gloss gives lips a lush, luminous look.

  • Pink Opal
  • Pink Lilac
  • Lilac Pearl

Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow $28
Bobbi’s fresh take on glitter lights up eyes with a combination of shimmering pearls and fine glitter. Now in four limited edition shades that are perfect for both day and night.

  • Mica (deep heather grey)
  • Ballet (light pink glitter)
  • Sunlight (warm golden glitter)
  • Silver Moon (light silvery glitter)

Bobbi Brown Glitter Gloss $18
Infused with fine, light reflecting flecks, this limited edition gloss gives lips a glimmering shine that’s perfect for day or evening.

I’m very excited to see the return of these Sparkle Eyeshadow shades, they are seriously my favorite formula from Bobbi and they just light eyes up (I’m wearing Ballet in the photo above). I’m quite interested in the new highlighting powder, what a refreshing change from ShimmerBricks don’t you agree? Interesting concept that it keeps skin looking smooth, wonder if it works?

I’m a little scared of the glosses, opal and lilac shades typically look living dead girl on me but count me curious!

What do you think of the new Bobbi Brown Brightening Nudes Collection?

Any must haves?

Do share!

The collection is available now at BobbiBrown.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. FOUND HER! *Calls off search and rescue team*

Good morning 🙂 How was your super long weekend/time off??

    • the Muse

LMAO! haha sorry! ;-D Good morning! Miss me much? It was amazing. California just wanted to keep me, “no way you no go back to New York, we make you native!” 😀

      • Cj

Missed you lots! Get anything good in Cali? I was in Orlando myself and went a little spending crazy lol! 😛

        • the Muse

A over did it, *hangs head* two new purses eep! ;-D No makeup though hehe! Whatcha get!??

          • Cj

Pshh also over did it lol. A couple blushes from Mac, Nars’s new TM from Nordie, and a lovely new bag 🙂

          • Cj

I like it, it only gives light coverage, but it’s really lightweight and super hydrating, it’s the first TM I’ve tried that I could actually skip my regular moisturizer if I really wanted to.

PS: I’ve been using the new skin79 bb cream for a little while now and It’s completely amazing. It has more coverage than the gold one, but it doesn’t feel heavy at all. I get around 7 or 8 hours wear time if I use a primer. It is pretty light tho, it works perfect for me (NC15), my BFF (NC20), and we even coerced her brother to try it who is a tad darker than her, but I don’t think it would work for anyone darker than NC30 and even that might be iffy I think. But I say for under $20 give it a try 🙂

      • Candee702

Ive never tried any of her face powders. They are beautiful to look at though.

For the most part I grew up on the west coast…WA state, OR, CA and lastly NV. OR & NV were my favorite. I’d gladly move back to either place.

        • the Muse

I love her SBs, they are ultra nice. where are you now? Those are all gorgeous states but love NY ;-D bad winters and all!

        • the Muse

i believe i believe i believe in a thing called lurve!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-D they are touring right now actually. Justin’s out of rehab, happy days ;-D dunno how long he’ll stay off the crazy sauce but we’ll see ;-D I think they are touring b/c of the cell phone commercial dealio thing they got going on. kinda good promotion I guess? Totally had an early twenties moment when they stepped onto the stage, fan girl lust ;D! ha almost……just almost…one is from tokidoki that counts for excitement right? ;D!

          • Ruth

oh, yea, tokidoki. they kill me with their cuteness!! and when they teamed up with hello kitty…so good!

I get fan girl lust withJon Bon Jovi. Slippery When Wet came out when I was 10, have been in lurve evah since! and he gets hotter with age *swoons*

  • Candee702

@ Muse ~ I moved here last September so I haven’t had a chance to see what all of this humidity talk is about yet. LOL

@ CJ ~ Are you from around this area?

  • Tammie

I don’t see anything I particularly want in this collection (for now…) but regarding the Lilac brightening lip glosses, I don’t think you really have to worry about looking like a corpse here, they are just so darned sheer!

    • the Muse

true but they have this odd reflection on my lips that make them look all pale and walking dead-like :-/

  • Carrie

Beautiful photo Muse! What are the colors of your blush and lippie in the pic?

  • Tracy

Wow ! Maybe I found the perfect highlighter ! That powder looks wonderful ! I was always a bit scared to try the shimmer bricks because I don’t want to overdo on the shimmer !

  • Sierrablue

I caved in and bought the Brightening Powder, it was just too cute to pass up. I am giving up my make up addiction for lent, this will be my last purchase in a while 🙁

  • Taylor

I can’t wait to check out those sparkly eyeshadows the Ballet and Mica are lovely.

  • Maz

    Hello muse,

I have visited your website many times and wanted to let you know how helpful you are when I come to deciding whether to get a particular make up or not.
I have a suggestion for you and I hope you don’t mind – when you take your pics , try and take them so that the camera is slightly above eye level – they will come out better.
Also, if possible take your pics without the headband please, you have such a beautiful face, it would be lovely so see the complete you.
Hope you don’t mind my suggestions.

    Maz x

    • Isabella Muse
