Clinique Age Defense BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Shade 3 Swatches

BB Cream has finally stepped into the spotlight here in the US. In Korea, where BB Cream first became popular, girls and women use this product after their skincare in place of sunscreen and foundation to perfect, protect, and create flawless skin.

Now that BB Cream has reached the US, we’ve adapted our own uses for the BB Cream that’s used in a variety of ways from priming, protecting, to using in place of foundation and controlling oil. BB Cream is a hybrid product that acts as skincare, makeup, and sun protection all in one.

Although BB Cream formulas and the some of ideas of the product has changed slightly to make it more marketable here in the US for the most part the concept remains the same, flawless skin achieved using a single product for easily achieving flawless skin.

Clinique Age Defense BB Cream is probably my favorite so far from the releases here in the US. What originally started out as a light and medium shade selection has now been extended to include another shade selection.

Take a look!

Clinique is delighted to add a third shade to their Age Defense BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 range. Shade 03 is a deeper shade that extends to consumers with olive and/or darker skin tones.

This BB Cream offers an SPF 30 in a creamy formula that evens out skin tone, brightens it, and creates a flawless base for makeup. The formula offers oil control with a long wear formula and a combination of chemical sunscreens to protect skin from the sun.

Some of the benefits of Clinique’s BB Cream:

  • Vitamin E to help protect skin from environmental aggressive which can trigger collage breakdown.
  • Caffeine t help sooth and calm irritated skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Glycrrhetinic Acid to reduce skin irritations.
  • Laminaria Saccharina Extract (derived from seaweed) helps to reduce excess oil.

I’ve reviewed Clinique’s BB Cream in a prior post so if you’d like info I do suggest clicking here for the full details.

ROFLOL – hun, there’s a typo in the title… It reads “Age Dense”…. Now, I know I’m gettin up there, but I refuse to be Age Dense! 😀

not trying to be mean, I just think it’s a hoot of a typo! ;P

Guh! Hurrry lol it’s AMAZING! The only thing is it might be a tad too light for you but I’m not sure so wish you luck lol 🙂

Also if you get a chance, could you try mixing some of the radiance primer from LM in with it and tell me if it makes the finish less matte? I’ll <3 you 4eva lol! I'd rather not buy the primer and find out it doesn't do what I wanted :X

I gotta tell ya musey-pants – I have to agree about this one being the best…I’ve tried several BB good times available in the US; just tried this one the other day at the counter, loved it, took home #2, named it Bober (cuz I can’t have a dog where I live)…ok I’m taking it too far. But I think its great; the coverage is buildable and it truly lasts the whole day, no touchups needed. Now lets see if she stands up to my moon of honey that I’m going on w/ my new husband in a month…Stay tuned : )

I tried it in 2010 at the mall in Waikiki and didn’t like it. I wish they would bring the expanded derma white (even better in the US) line here. I want the cream foundation! So smooth~
