Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream Hyperlight Review & Swatches

Looking for the next best thing to brighten up your tired eyes?

Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream Hyperlight is a new way to reduce the appearance of dark circles and perk up tired eyes. You can use it under or over your concealer and foundation to diminish the appearance of woe and replace it with wow.

Take a look!

Tarina needs to get to work creating a concealer to add to her cosmetic collection as she did well with this brightening pen. Loves it.

It’s not going to be for everyone as the pale, light shade of pink will suit most fair to medium fair and tan skin types but olive or darker skin tones won’t be able to indulge here sadly as I think the pink might look chalky or pasty on such a tone.

If it does suit your skin tone you’re in for a treat as the shade manages to brighten up darkness and brightens up eyes and face with a few clicks.

The chunky pen is a click style pen with an attached brush applicator which makes it easy to tote around for quickie touch ups throughout the day or at the end of one should you be needing to freshen up. The formula is extra creamy, blends easily, and lives a crease-free existence under eyes.

Used on its own it creates a nice brightening effect under eyes but won’t completely conceal dark circles. I suggest it for use alone if you want a more natural, minimal makeup look for running around town.

If you have harder to conceal issues such as finer lines, dark circles, etc….I’d suggest using it under or over your concealer of choice. I like using it under concealer, a little bit goes a long way at brightening up the area in a way that my concealer doesn’t. I find it acts as a create way to diminish darkness (not conceal it) prior to concealer application plus it makes my eyes have this ethereal kinda glow around them, nothing sparkly, no worries, but just a really nice brightening effect.

I had no issues with creasing and it seemed to wear fairly strong throughout the day. If I was heading out after work I’d dab a little under my eyes to just freshen the area up and get rid of the computer droopy eye look. I’ve been gaming fairly hard lately as well and my eyes look intensely bad because of it and this seems to be just the trick for perking things up and gives eye a little pop.

If you want to really multitask with it you can go ahead and use it 360 by applying it under eyes as well as on your lid and brow bone to conceal dullness or if you’re fairer of skin redness on the lids or tiny blue/green veins.

You’re not limited to under eye use here as the pen works well on your face to ease dullness, ease redness, and brighten up shadow-y areas.

Just a note, be careful when you click. Product flows out fairly quickly so a single click or two gets things going.

Overall, this is a keeper and very Muse Approved for purchase. At half the cost of a YSL Click Pen it offers a way nicer option to brighten up eyes in a quick click, swipe, and blend motion!

Loves it.

Do pick it up. Well worth it.

I plan on picking this up. So many things from her spring line I wanna scoop up. I keep getting distracted by newer things though.

same here, whenever I see something I want I mark it down but proceed to see something else and forget about it *head desk*

That is exactly what I do. I always keep a Sephora cart ready, but I always end up saying “Oh I’ll get that next time”. LOL

I do that ALL the time and sometimes get pissed when it gets erased ;-D haha!

I was going to get this but I saw the swatch you posted and decided on getting the dior one instead. I never really understood pink highlighter pens, I thought they would look like really unnatural and weird if you used it alone, and you would have to use foundation over it to like color correct.

dior’s booster pen is incred! good choice ;-D it color corrects well with concealer on top and it actually does look fairly natural when blended correctly but doesn’t conceal major dark circles :-/ but does brighten the area up ;D
