Benefit High Brow Glow Review & Swatches

Attention Benefit High Brow fans!

There’s a new kid on the block and it comes with a bit of a glow. Benefit High Brow Glow is a brand new highlighting pencil shade that will be launching soon (it’s already available at BenefitCosmetics.com).

Take a peek!

I’ve always been a major fan and supporter of the original High Brow Pencil so I was delighted to see that Benefit has extended the family and now has a “glow” version available.

Benefit High Brow Glow is a champagne pink shade that lifts and illuminates eyes easily with a single stroke. She works a treat with warmer shades of shadow or all over your lid for a brightening effect. I’m one for being quite lazy about highlighting my brow bone and this takes care of the issue in a snap single stroke.

The great thing about High Brow Pencils is their ability to create the illusion of a well rested eye. The original version has always been a go to for creating 10 hours of sleep when in reality you’ve only had 5. High Brow Glow has the same great benefits plus the added addition of a shade that goes well with all your warmer looks. The shade also happens to be fab for olive or darker skin since the original was best suited for those with a cooler tones.

Droopy eyes? No problem! A stroke of this will get things back in order again.

P.S. Don’t limit the pencil to your eyes use it to illuminate your cheek bones too!

Benefit High Brow Glow is $20 and available now at BenefitCosmetics.com and will be launching in April at your favorite beauty locations like Sephora and Ulta.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. How did I not hear about this??? I had the old one, but I barely used it cause the color was just not for me. This one on the other hand, looks amazing! Will definitely order when it pops back in stock @ sephora.

I had to return the original one because it wasn’t a good color for me, but also, I just don’t know how to use it !!! I would love to get this one, but how can you smudge a line that you “write” on your brow so it comes out natural ?!

    • the Muse

not sure what you mean about writing or smudging a line tracy? I simply smooth it on and blend with a fingertip on the high brow area.

haha ! I might lack technique, I can’t blend the line this pencil makes well enough so it looks natural. I still have a defined line as a highlight, so I decided to use powder eye shadow to highlight my brows ! But I’m ready to try this new color, maybe because it’s glowy and more for warm tones, it will be easier to blend on my skintone !

I work at Macy’s Impulse Beauty in Riverside and we received this amazing pencil earlier this week. It is stunning on non-fair skinned ladies. I bought one myself (ADORE IT) and sold two last night. If the original version looks yucky on you try out this new one – it is simply gorgeous!
