About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. It’s a great collection I love it! Illamasqua has such a way with promoting their products. I remember their Art of Darkness winter collection 2010….was also great

I’ve been wanting to try out some pieces of their line but some of the colors are too: young, much, loud, bold (add your own descriptive) for me. Their presentation however, is stunning.

Illamasqua steals my heart! Their photos and products are a color lovers dream!!!

  • Jane

The products are great, but the images are so incredibly off putting.

Am I the only one who sees these promo pics and immediately my mind goes to the Hunger Games and the people that live in the Capital? o.O

  • Ruthless

I love all the pictures except the first one, the chick on the bike just doesn’t do it for me, it’s sort of beyond thunderdome. I get that they are supposed to highlight editorial looks but c’mon… that’s just ridiculous.

Is it just me or the nail polishes look like the ones from Dior’s spring collection ? 😉

I totally believe in Illamasqua’s message….but this is a little over the edge that borders on the ridiculous. Just too too much in the first pic.

The makeup looks awesome tho! And I am digging the turquoise hair!
