Diorshow Waterproof Liner Turquoise Summer 2012 Review & Swatches

There’s something about that splash of turquoise on a bronzed eye look that brings it all together for Summer. A perfectly natural bronze-y eye is wonderful but a little bit of turquoise on the lower or bottom lash line and things get spicy!

Diorshow Liner in Turquoise is a new, limited edition shade released with Dior’s Summer 2012 Collection that makes for the perfect splash of color for a day at the pool.

Take a peek!

This a light shade of pool water shaded turquoise with a hint of silver sparkle in the mix. It proves an ideal shade for lining your lower lash liner with a bronze-y shade of color on lids. The color smudges out to a cool watery turquoise that reminds me of a day at the pool.

Formula isn’t as creamy as I had hoped for sadly. This one does involve a little tugging to get into place correctly but it smudges out quite easily with a brush or a q-tip creating a “I just dipped in the water and my makeup has run” look. The little hint of subtle silver sparkle adds a little snap to the overall look.

If you’re looking for ways to sport the new Dior Summer 2012 look you might want to add this one to your collection just be aware of the formula which wasn’t as creamy as I had hoped for but hey, on the upside it wears quite strongly and sticks around on eyes for hours on end.

Likey that.

P.S. It has a stealthy sharpener in the top!

Sounds like I should stick to Chanel’s similar product and color (Stylo Yeux Waterproof in 50 Jade), same thing, but it doesn’t tug and it’s soft and creamy.

Dior’s waterproof liner does have some friction to it, and I prefer it this way actually. Yeah…I’m weird but I do feel that its gives me better control during application than if it is too ‘slippery.’ I have one in black and one in brown but both in pencil format. This color is eye -catching that’s for sure but I don’t feel comfortable sporting it. Love the subtle silver sparkle though.

I want this for the color as it is pretty unique. I have been loving dior the past few collections not good for the pocketbook.

I picked up the Swimming Pool Palette a few days ago. I ususally don’t go for “colors” but the shades are light enough for me to feel comfortable wearing. I keep going back and forth on this liner, lol!
