Laura Mercier Lip Glace Camellia Review and Swatches

More people need to rush to their Laura Mercier counter and purchase Lip Glace, it’s so damn underrated. When I use my small stash of these even I question myself, “Why do I not own more of these?”

Most all of her glosses are just so incredibly luxurious and possibly the best formula I’ve tried in a gloss.

Here’s an excuse to pick up a new shade, Camellia, released with the Laura Mercier Summer 2012 Collection is a delightful shade of pink that you might want to own.

Take a peek!

Laura Mercier Lip Glace is a perfectly perfect lipgloss that offers not only incredible shine but in most cases a full color experience. Every single shade of Lip Glace I own has always had really fabulous color pay off so that amazing shade of peach or pink you see in the tube is likely what you’ll get on your lips after application.

How disappointing are glosses that look fabulous but apply so sheer?

That’s the joy of Lip Glace! Typically the formula isn’t sheer at all and you’ll get medium to full color payoff with Laura’s formula.

Not only do you get color but a strong, shiny finish that has a comfortable wear without being tacky or sticky. Even without stickiness these glosses tend to wear quite long and give lips a fuller look.

Camellia, the shade featured in this post, is part of the Belle Nouveau Collection for Summer. This is a bright shade of bubblegum pink. I find it wears easily as I was a tad worried it might go a bit mod on me. But you can easily wear this with a sheer wash of color on lids concentrating on creating a lovely splash of pink on lips for a fun Summer look.

If not Camellia, do check out other shades of Laura Mercier Lip Glace, they are just so darn fabulous.

Love them?

They are soooo underrated! I love these glosses so much. I think Orange Tulip is my favorite, but I use Bare Naked quite a bit, too. My only complaint is the taste, like vanilla mixed with the plastic. :/ But I can overlook that when everything else about them is so fab!

Her lipsticks are equally amazing, I have 1 (hydrangea, a pretty light berry pink) but I wear it all the time, the texture/color/wear is just perfect!

I don’t believe I ever tried a lipstick from her meghan gasp!

Is this a limited color? It is so hard when you live in the middle of no where, and the nearest retailer is over an hour away!
