Maybelline Color Sensational Plush Plums Fall 2012

You’ve probably noticed by now that a few plum shades have been clearanced at drugstores from the Maybelline Color Sensational Collection. I’ve seen these shades as low as $2.50-$3.00 each.

Looks like Maybelline is replacing those shades with eight new plums.

Take a look!

I saw this special display at my drugstore and I assume they’ll join the standard plum collection after the shades they discontinued are sold out.

Some of the shades included were:

  • Mauve It Up
  • Mauve Mania
  • On the Mauve
  • Plum Perfect

I didn’t pick any up as I don’t look great in plums like this but if you’re interested your local drugstore should have these displays up already. I saw them at CVS and Harmons so far.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. These look very juicy and gorgeous. The model looks pale enough but I am admittedly too scared to walk out wearing purple on my lips. I’d either look gothic or like a clown. Perhaps it is all in my head though but it scares me. Kudos to those who are brave!
