Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

It might sound like the hit of a new TV show but How To Look The Best At Everything is Benefit’s new Flawless Complexion Makeup Kit.

The new Benefit How To Look the Best At Everything contains an essential selection of products for concealing eyes, perfecting skin, and getting your skin looking its very best for makeup.

Take a peek!

Disguised as a hardcover book this hard shelled compact is about the size of a paperback and contains instructions and fundamentals for the flawless first steps in your makeup application.

The design of the palette is just too cute as it’s made from a sturdy, quite solid cardboard with a flip top lid that features a mirror. Inside the fold out instructions on either side of the mirror give you a step by step guide for application of the products included with the kit.

The set includes:

  • Benefit The POREfessional
  • Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow SPF 25 PA+++ in “Cheers To Me” Champagne
  • 2 x Benefit Boi-ing Shades in 01 and 02
  • Benefit “Hello Flawless!” in “Me, Vain?” Champagne

Start your application with Benefit Porefessional which conceals pores, blurs minor imperfections, and preps skin for foundation. Conceal dark circles, fine lines and puffiness with a dab of either or both shades of Benefit Boi-ing Concealer. Smooth on Benefit’s newest, lightweight foundation, Hellow Flawless Oxygen Wow and complete your look with a dusting of Hello Flawless.

Done!

Now you’re picture perfect ready for your color cosmetics or perhaps you just want a hint of blush for a nude, natural face.

The kit contains all you need to prep for makeup. I’m a big fan of many of the products included in this set (Boi-ing used to be my HG concealer for many years and Hello Flawless Face Powder is something I use daily in the Summer) and this is a great way to have all of them in one convenient location.

The kit proves a perfect introduction to many of Benefit’s cult favorites if you’ve never tried the brand before or have just started exploring their line.

At $30, this is a cute and practical little set. Even if you already have the products inside, this still makes a great little kit for travel or for storing in your desk drawer or at your boyfriend’s place for quickie makeup on the go. After you’ve used up the makeup you can remove the tray that holds the products and store trinkets in the box.

Loves this!

Benefit How To Look the Best At Everything will be available in Light, Medium, and Deep this August at Sephora, Sephora.com, your favorite Benefit counter or boutique, or online at benefitcosmetics.com

This one gets a Muse Approval!

Love it!

The perfect introduction to Benefit for new folks or a great pick for fans of the brand who want travel friendly versions of their favorite base products!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. yay sai! enjoy your haul! I own them too, I tucked it into my desk drawer for touch ups and brought a back up during the flash sale to leave at a friend’s when I’m there overnight ;D!

  • Kiss & Make-up

I like the idea behind this, very cute. Does the Porefessional really work?

    • the Muse

there’s a link for a review in detail of porefessional right in this post Kiss and Makeup, it’ll give you more details how it works, if it’s worth it etc.

  • CARLA

I was in doubt if it would be a good investment or not! Thanks Muse for the review!
A question though: For a NC 35-40 like me, would Medium or dark work better?

    • the Muse

i haven’t actually seen the deep one in person carla, so I’m not sure…but at 35-40 I’d prob go with the deep version but don’t quote me!

  • Jacquelyn

I want this so badly!! I’ve been stalking both Benefit’s and Sephora’s website for it to be in store! Grrr. Does the foundation match NC30-35? I’m around that range. Also, is the powder darker than the foundation? It looks like it is!

  • Becca @ The Beauty Sample

This looks like an amazing kit. Plus I’ve always wanted to try the Porefessional! I really hope that Medium matches my skin though!

  • Christine

This is so cute! Love that the boi-ing pans are removable, if only the powder was too!

    • the Muse

  • jasmine

bought this for a friend’s birthday gift. ive always heard how benefit boi-ing’s concealor can conceal almost anything, but my friend said it isnt as good in concealing blemishes and dark circles 🙁

Kim, I think the Muse is more like a NW20 to NC25…

Muse, you gotta write a review on Benefit’s liquid foundation! I wanna know what you think! xoxo
