Guerlain Rouge G L’Extrait for Fall 2012

Guerlain Rouge G L’Extrait for Fall 2012 is a newly elegant packaged matte lipstick with an exceptional hold for Fall 2012.

Are you ready for this luxurious lipstick to come home with you?

As the creator of the first tube of lipstick in 1870, Guerlain has continued to offer break-through lip innovations and this fall our Rouge G LExtrait is the newest to be unveiled. Liquid, creamy, consistent, ultra-pigmented and velvety, this exceptional lip color is the perfect combination of a lipstick and a gloss and will ensure an incredibly sophisticated look. The liquid texture glides gently over the lip and within a few moments, the silky color becomes matte. This non-sticky, non-drying and non-feathering texture leaves your lips looking flawless for hours.

  • A soft and creamy texture for an easy and precise application.
  • A matte formula for the most sophisticated makeup result.
  • The formula is like a second-skin, adhering the color to your lips for exceptionally long wear.
  • The original Rouge G Lipstick case is reinterpreted in a sleeker, longer version.

Formulation:

  • A formula with rejuvenating and smoothing benefits that increase with continual application.
  • Hyaluronic acid- to smooth and plump the lips.
  • Centella asiatica (Tiger Grass)- known for stimulating collagen synthesis and boosting the firming process.
  • Guggul resin- used in Ayurvedic medicine, was chosen for its smoothing action.

Shades (named after the seven cardinal sins):

  • M06 Avarice- beige for greed
  • M25 Colère- red for wrath
  • M27 Luxure- brown for lust
  • M41 Envie- orange for envy

Ready for the pretty but not for the prices, LOL. I’ve always loved how beautiful their products are (if not a little too heavy) but good lord, the price tag always keeps me from indulging 🙁

Thanks for the (sad) news! Lol >.<

Can that packaging get any more amazing? Because it’s pretty freaking amazing. However, I doubt I will ever spend fifty bucks on gloss, even in that gorgeous silver bullet WITH a built in mirror. Drool.

By what the formula sounds like, I’m tempted to get one and then refill it with an OCC lip tar combo when I use it up 😛

I am committing cardinal sins just looking at these! Greed, list, gluttony….I want them all! I wished they would make something other than the mascara as refillable, though.

must. have. No idea what shades, but at least one of these will be mine. Possibly more, if I can convince my wallet to stretch!

  • Jo

I only have one Rouge G but I love it. Can’t wait to see all the colours! Packaging looks great, as always!

  • Nat

I want it just for the packaging! That is some bad ass sci-fi lookin’ stuff right there

  • Leah

I don’t know why but it bothers me that she’s applying the ls the wrong direction.

$48????? Holy cow! I love matte lipstick, and the texture sounds amazing, but I just can’t justify $48 for a lippie. That’s a tank of gas for me!

  • Icequeen81

Matte formula Me likyyyyyyyy but the price is indeed high 48 for a lippie

  • Ally

That packaging looks absolutely amazing! The price may be high, but I have to admit…I’m tempted!
