Tarte Maracuja Miracle Foundation Swatches

The new QVC Tarte What Has Your Makeup Done for You Lately? High Performance Collection will be launching next week. This is Tarte’s July QVC Today’s Special Value (TSV) and will include six full size products from Tarte including a sneak peek at their new eye cream.

In celebration of the launch I’m bringing you swatches today of the new Tarte Maracuja Miracle 12 HR Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 which is included with the set.

The foundation will be available in five shade options.

Take a peek!

Tarte Maracuja Miracle Foundation promises twelve hours of courage with brightening abilities thanks to maracuja oil. The formula promises to leave behind a dewy, radiant glow.

I haven’t tried it yet myself so I’m looking forward to your thoughts on it in the comment box.

I’ll be reviewing it in an upcoming post but here are swatches to help you choose the shade for you. In my swatching adventure I notice the shades run fairly beige and fairly dark so be careful when selecting. I’d like to suggest going a shade down in some cases but don’t want to steer you completely wrong. It just seemed to me like the shades ran very dark and warmer.

Medium, Light, Fair

Tan and Deep

For further information about the Tarte QVC Today’s Special Value Set for July and to see what it includes and how much it will be please see my original post.

Hope the swatches help!

Review on the way shortly!

    • the Muse

lol! love da glitta ;-D be careful, they run really dark…!

  • Carrie

The shades may run dark but they blend in pretty well imo 🙂

  • yelena

oh muse! won’t you do a face of the day, or complete look with all the items from just this sit? pretty please 🙂 i like to see if i can make a whole look just with this set. also would love to hear ur thoughts on this foundation. 🙂

  • Amandale

Ugh Tarte and their foundations, I wish they’d put a shade in between “tan” and “deep. Meh =|

  • Laurie

I bought this in fair and the swatch looks really on my me. I’ll probably have to mix it with something else to make it work.

  • Laurie

That should read “the swatch on my hand looks really pink”. Someday I will learn to reread before hitting “reply”!

  • kimkats

Wow – fair is really pink, compared to the rest of them…. Why can’t tarte be consistent with their shade descriptions????? The amazonian clay stuff runs light, this one runs dark!! Light looks like it would work for me – prolly in winter, when I’m lighter, but medium looks way too dark/orange for me at any time. I may have to jump on this TSV with the light one… Hmmmm….. 🙂

  • JoElla

Oooooooh Muse thank you so very much for the swatches!!!!

Now I know what color to order XOXOOX

  • Courtney

It’s so weird that they didn’t stick with the same approximate shades as the amazonian clay foundation. The fair in the Amazonian clay was too light for me but this fair almost looks too dark. Hmmm. Decisions decisions…

  • blue

is it me or does the fair look like it has a slight peach or pink undertone to it? can you confirm Muse? i was hoping it would have more of a yellow undertone like the Amazonian clay foundation in light. thanks!

  • Colleen

I got the kit & love it. The colors are definitely not the same as the amazonian clay. I have the fair in that & the fair in the maracuja foundation & the maracuja is a bit darker & more neutral. It gives a nice dewy finish & looks good at the end of a long day. & that’s saying something as my t-zone is an oil slick. The brush was great the 1st time I used it. Everytime since it has shed like crazy. I no longer use the brush.

  • JennyPoo

Is it just me or doesn’t it seem as though both medium and tan are fairly similar? Muse, any tips on how to choose between them? Maybe I should just go with medium as I’m currently using tan from the amazonian clay foundation.

  • Melissa

I quit my liquid foundation mission a few years ago but on my screen that light looks more like it would be a perfect match for my medium tone. I am still loving my tm’s as they are more than enough coverage for the 115 degree days LOL. This looks pretty thin though, I’ll wait your full review. Thanks for the teasers.

  • blauriche

I’m glad I saw this! I would have ordered medium and walked around looking like an oompa loompa or something. I guess Light it is!

  • beautybabbler

The fair shade in this foundation is quite a bit darker than the fair shade in the Amazonian clay foundation, which was really disappointing to me. I’ve gotten a little bit of color this summer, so it works, but I’ll have to do some mixing or stick it in the back of my foundation drawer once I go back to my super pale self. 🙁

  • Becca @ The Beauty Sample

looks beautiful but way not for my oily skin. But I guess you never know…

  • Diane

These blend so nicely and wear great. Makes skin look so healthy. I had to get medium and tan to match my tone, i also had to do that with the amazonian clay founations. Sometimes i criss cross the two foundations together. The finish is nice!

  • Mindy

I still have one of their newest foundations I have yet to open… I’d love your review but I may pass on this one.

  • Jennifer

I loved the fair shade. The pink undertone, which is hard to find in a foundation I like, made it a perfect match. Then I wore in to work and realized it oxidized bad on me. I gave it two days just to be sure and I looked like a ompa-lompa both times by the 8th hour.
