Are You Gaga for Fame?

Lady Gaga’s Fame Eau de da Parfum recently launched to the excitement of little monsters far and wide.

The fluid technology used in this fragrance is the first of its kind. Black like the soul of Fame but invisible once it goes airborne. Maybe more zombie plague than Fame yes?

It’s fruity, it’s floral, it’s dark, it’s Gaga.

Will you be indulging?

Available now at Sephora and Sephora.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment.

I took a whif of this today at Belk, it actually smells pretty good! I was worried she’d do something crazy like BLOOD but it actually reminds me of one of my favorite BPAL oils.

Me neither…that doesn’t sound legal lol…but I’ve been hearing rumors around the internet about it! Anyway based on the fragrance description I am pretty curious to give this a sniff when I see it.

        • the Muse

icequeen, hmm sounds interesting? maybe it’ll help ;-D I’m a big tea drinker so I’ll try anything once ;D!

Smelled this today, it really didn’t smell like anything (sweet, sour, nor spicy) and smelled like something you’d buy from Wal-Mart 🙁 I really wanted to love it 🙁

I sprayed a bit of this on myself today at Ulta and I am in LOVE with the scent. I also love how “dangerous” it seems; from the packaging to the inky black perfume itself!

    • the Muse

i haven’t tried it yet chase b/c I have a cold but quite eager to try 😀

  • Jessi

I work at Ulta and we were smelling/spraying it all day. It seriously smells different on every person who wears it. I will for sure be indulging next pay check <3

Hopefully your cold clears up soon and you can give your take on it! The design is gorgeous.
Boo on colds, though. Soup up!

  • LaLa

I read the interview about her perfume and what was in it… NOPE i will not touch that bottle or attempt to smell it… ew…….

Semen and her blood….. hell to the no…. sorry GaGa… that’s just wayyyyyy toooo far…

  • It’s Gamayun

I think the semen comment was an in-joke – there’s a Japanese artist named Shiina Ringo who had an album called Chlorine, Semen and Chestnut Flowers, based on the premise that they all smell alike, and I think that’s what she meant. (I don’t know if Gaga’s a Ringo fan, but Nicola Formichetti almost certainly is, and there’s a lot of similarity between their “fame” personas.)

So, back to topic, just keep telling yourself it’s chestnut flowers you’re smelling. 🙂

    • Tammie

I’m not sure if it just smelling like semen is a whole lot better lol. I mean of course it’s BETTER but I don’t want it to smell like that too you know? For one thing, ew. For another…it’s just not a good smell lol. Smells like cleaning something with bleach lol…

ahahaha omg when I was reading about this perfume and describing it to my boyfriend we started talking about how the ingredients sound like a shiina ringo perfume (or the closest thing we’re gonna get to one).
I already smelled this stuff and I like it!

  • Tammie

Smelled this on Friday and I actually liked it a lot! I might get a bottle.

      • Tammie

Thanks :). It’s rare that I find a perfume I want to buy, as of now I only have 2. It even got my husband’s approval and he is pickier than I am 🙂

        • the Muse
