NARS Andy Warhol Silver Factory Holiday Collection

As promised there is more to the NARS Andry Warhol Collection! I just posted about the main NARS Andy Warhol Holiday Color Collection and this is a look at the NARS Andy Warhol Silver Factory Holiday Collection.

Let me know what you think!

Everybody is a superstar. At least for 15 minutes.

In a new makeup gifting collection for department and specialty stores, NARS captures the spirit of Warhol’s Silver Factory. The edgy energy of the Screen Tests, the intense color of the silkscreens, and the cool of Warhol’s superstars –underground icons and downtown divas who amazed audiences just by being themselves. For Andy the factory characters were like a full spectrum palette –
personality as color.

NARS Andy Warhol Self Portrait Eyeshadow Palettes $55
Palettes feature variations on Andy Warhol’s painting, Self Portrait, 1967. Chrome logo on compact and Andy Warhol quotes on mirrors.

Self Portrait 1
Black, bright periwinkle blue, and vibrant green
Self Portrait 2
Black, white, and silver
Self Portrait 3
Dark brown with shimmer overspray, rose pink, and heather blue

Available exclusively at Department and Specialty stores, NARS Flagship Boutiques, and on on November 1st.

NARS Andy Warhol Silver Factory Gift Set $200
Andy listed his occupation as ‘Factory Owner.’ He called his silver-foiled studio ‘The Factory’ because for him art was work, and it took a team to make it. His ‘superstars’ surrounded him there, but he said he was hanging around them.

Accompanied by a silver deluxe cosmetics bag, the gift set includes:

  • Silver Factor Multiple (aluminum)
  • Silver Factory Shadow Trio (aluminum, bright deep purple, and matte black)
  • Chelsea Girls Pure Matte Lipstick (innocent, flesh-toned beige)
  • Desire Blush (delicate bright pink)
  • Via Veneto Larger than Life Long Wear Eyeliner (black)
  • Large Domed Eyeshadow Brush (NARS Brush 13)
  • Blush Brush (NARS Brush 8)
  • Available November 1 at select stores only (updated info to follow)

NARS Andy Warhol Edie Gift Set $75
Edie Sedgwick was the sixties It Girl, with the biggest eyes, the shortest skirt and longest legs. For Edie life was a non-stop performance. Edie and Andy were silver haired lookalikes. Andy said “she had more problems than anybody I ever met,” but she was his muse and if Andy were a girl he would have been Edie.

Presented in an authentic 16mm film canister, the gift set includes:

  • Film Star Pure Matte Lipsticks (60s nude pink)
  • Edie Eyeshadow (cream with a little bit of shimmer)
  • Carpates Eyeliner Stylo (black)
  • Deep Throat/Amour Blush Duo (shimmering, sheer peach and matte peachy pink)

Available November 1 at

NARS Andy Warhol Beautiful Darling Gift Set $49
Candy was the ultimate blonde bombshell. She was Andy’s greatest actress, even though she was a man. She said “You must always be yourself no matter what the price. It is the highest form of morality.” She thought beauty was a duty and worked harder at it than anyone.

Accompanied by a silver deluxe cosmetics bag, the gift set includes:

  • Candy Darling Nail Polish (electric Pink)
  • Femme Fatale Duo Eyeshadow (sheer white shimmer and fresh mint green)
  • Woman in Revolt Larger Than Life Lipgloss (hot pink)

NARS Andy Warhol Photo Booth Nail Polish Gift Set $35
Andy believed in a trademark look. His silver hair made him look ironically young. His shades added mystery. He looked like he had a secret, even if he didn’t. He was shy of strangers but he liked being famous. He said it gave him an aura.

The gift set includes:

  • Back Room (black)
  • Soup Can (perfect red)
  • Chelsea Girls (innocent, flesh-toned beige)

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Everything looks good. I’ll wait for reviews before deciding what I want to purchase though.

The Edie set is pretty much my daily face. Add a crease color in there and it would be perfect! That is def going on my holiday shopping wish list! Hopefully the lipstick is a good nude shade, I’m always on the lookout for a new one!

I liked everything but the self portrait eyeshadows…. LOL what is my problem,,, Hopefully the femme fatale palette will work, I love mint green eye shadow but it is so hard to find one that is pigmented!!!

I am digging the Silver Factor Multiple (aluminum)
Silver Factory Shadow Trio, (rolls eyes)

  • Cindy

That self portrait eyeshadow palette is probably the coolest thing I’ve seen all month! I can’t get over how awesome of a design it is! I really love this collection!

  • Ada

I’m looking at the Edie set and loving it, but I’m definetly trying to work out what colours I can blend it with to fit with my skin (I’m African American and my skin is milk chocolate with rosey undertones. Flesh coloured lips they say? Nah mine are kind of a darker pink/red. Also Interested in the self portrait eye-shadow palettes, the silver factory set (though again i’m iffy about the lipstick with my skin tone). Beautiful darling looks like it might be able to work with me ha!

  • Majick

Edie GIft set would be perfect if someone wanted to gift me. LOL I think the eye portrait palettes look really cool but once you use them – meh. Too expensive for me to buy and not use. (been there done that with other stuff and …oh what a waste)

I like the colors in this selection and have most of them so I really don’t think I’ll need to purchase anything. (maybe Edie… ha)

  • Melissa

Seriously I’m seriously seriously thinking about buying all of them I can’t afford them but I really like the silver factory set since I don’t have any items that are included in it. Oy vey #200 smackers and its callimg me….
