L’Oreal Project Runway The Temptress Kiss Colour Riche Lipstick Review & Swatches

L’Oreal Kiss Colour Riche in The Temptress Kiss is one of four limited edition lip colors released with the new, limited edition Project Runway Collection.

Although a stunning shade for Fall I was a little worried about purchasing this shade since it is a vampy shade of berry purple. But I’ve ever so happy I did as after trying it I felt like it was quite wearable.

This is the type of shade you’ll want to pair up with dramatic smoky eye looks or a simple cat eye with heavy emphasis on bolder lips. The color is a metallic vampy berry purple. It has specks of gold shimmer in it but this doesn’t translate to a sparkly finish it merely adds to the metallic-ness of the shade.

I generally like L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick as they have a smooth, even glide with some moisture but not crazy hydration. The formula is always quite opaque and yields excellent coverage. The Temptress Kiss is testimony to this as it’s richly pigmented.

I find the color bold, rich, and quite stunning for Fall. If you’re a bit scared of a bolder lip or a vampy one I do suggest checking this one out. I thought it was very wearable and I’m typically scared of a vampy lip but this seemed easy enough to sport without looking too dramatic.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. I’m always so wary of lipsticks with so much glitter/sparkle/frost to them but MUUUUUSE you make them look so good!! I feel like on me they just age me but on you they look so fresh and girly! Also, on a side note, I’m always SO tempted to buy lipsticks that have a name involving “temptress” (I believe Maybelline makes one in a shade called “temptress”?) since a guy once told me I was a temptress hahahaha. Makes no sense to me, but I guess I was flattered?

aw thanks cassie but this doesn’t really contain glitter/sparkle more metallic in finish ;-D ha that’s why I purchased it, just because of the name hehe ;-D you should be!!!! that’s a nice compliment hehe!

Cassie, I have to agree that I think sparkly or frosted lippies age me as well. HOWever, I do have a KAT Von D Adora (red metallic) that looks wonderful on me. I think the metallics are a little easier to wear than the glitter ones.

THis is a great color! I may keep my eye out for it.

Very pretty on you, Muse. I really like L’Oreal lipsticks. I may have to purchase that one.

I didn’t think I would love it from the swatches but then I scrolled down to your FOTD and it’s gorgeous! I need to find this display ASAP.

Hmm…I don’t know about how often I’d wear a color like this, but I like that it’s as sparkly as it is. I don’t often see something with the deep shade and that glitter.

  • Tiffany Martin

I like it on you, Muse, but I think I’m still too scared of deep/vampy berry colors.

  • JoElla

What a beautiful color and it is lovely on you =)

However, it always seems that L’oreal colors never really work for me. I have tried many but the ones I love, make me look like death πŸ™

I’ve been wanting to start rocking a vampy lip but I’m scared of trying it! This seems like a good “toe in the water” shade. Love it!

I’m usually not into the purples, but it looks beautiful on you. I’m going to try to find it today!
