Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow in Rich Mahogany is one of eight limited edition shades release for Fall 2012. Rich Mahogany is actually one of four warmer shades released and there are also four other shades that are a good deal bolder.

Dare I say I am enjoying the warmer colors way more than the bolder ones? How about you? Have you gotten your hands on all eight? Any favs?

Rich Mahogany is a rich, warm dark brown. This is very deep so it can be a little bit much particularly if you have dark circles, finer lines, etc…..

The color compliments brown eyes very nicely and gives them a sultry finish that’s quite beautiful. The formula proved excellent with a soft, creamy base that blended well. There is some patchiness here though so use a brush to layer color and to get the smoothest finish.

This has a softer creamy finish sans any major sparkle or shimmer and definitely no frostiness. I find the formula varies on Color Tattoos so I like reviewing each individual shade and mentioning the pros and cons of the color.

Rich Mahogany is a nice bold brown that should please those looking for a seductive evening look!
