Essence Volumizing Lash Powder Launches at Ulta

I know some of you were interested in hauling the Essence Volumizing Lash Powder I recently reviewed. I personally haven’t located it at my own Ulta store however, it has launched online and is available now at Ulta.com for $3.49. There is free shipping available on orders of $25 or more using promo code Holiday2012 should you wish to grab a few products along with the lash powder.

In other news….

All is well here! My lights are on and there was very minimal damage around my own neighborhood. I wish I could say the same for others. I hope if you’re on the East Coast that you fared just as luckily! My thoughts are with you today and throughout the week as we clean up this mess that Sandy left behind.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This is also available at most Shopper’s Drug Marts in Canada, though I felt as if it took forever after your review before I found it! 🙂

Thanks for the deets emily ;-D Canadian readers will greatly appreciate it!

hey sweetie, glad to hear that all is well. We were right on the edge of the storm and there are some downed trees but there was no damage and power stayed on =). I”m suprised since if there is a hard sneeze, it goes out.

    • the Muse

HAPPY to hear it Ruth! I was surprised as well between Irene and Sandy I’m impressed that power stayed on both times! I’m glad you are all ok!!!!!!

Forget about the lash powder, I’m glad to hear you got through the storm alright 🙂

I’ve actually seen the lash powder in some Ulta stores, but I think it’s a little rare. I have three stores pretty close by to me here, only 1 out of the three of them had it, and it was probably the nicer and larger of the three.

I’m glad to hear you’re ok after the storm, I thought of you seeing the pics of NY and hoped you were spared anything nasty or even any of the little bullshit that goes with a bad storm.
We recently got hit by Isaac, had no power for a week in 80-98 degree days and nights, lost all our food and part of our roof.
The general mayhem sucked too, like no stores open, nothing cold to drink, no traffic lights or banks/atms open.
Even weirder was it was almost to the day the 7th anniversary of Katrina.

Something like that reminds us how much we depend on our local infrastructure working properly. Things can go to complete shit so quickly, it’s scary.

lorraine thank god all is well. I wish I could say the same thing for everyone but people are facing a ton worst than I did! wow just wow…that’s insane 🙁 I am so so so sorry to hear that jesus…! It really is downright scary how quickly things go downhill!

I’m so glad you are ok! I can’t really imagine weather being that extreme, hopefully everything will get fixed as soon as possible. I think this incidents are an opportunity to reach out and help others and prove human race is worth it after all.
About the lash powder, tried it once, had to give it away. I just wanted to rub it away, and I didn’t like my eyelashes longer, they looked a little dramatic.

marta me either lol! new york isn’t known for hurricanes ;-D We aren’t prepared for this type of disaster. Winter storms yes, gusting winds and flooding=no! thankfully I lucked out wish I could say the same for others. too true too true…! oh I understand the feeling, the fibers are kinda strange at first!

My lights just came on a few hours ago. It’s been an awful last few days without lights or heat but thankfully I was out of the path of the hurricane. Missed you, Muse!

    • the Muse

You can purchase lash fibers separately and in a tube from Makeup Forever (Lash Fibers $21 @ Sephora) or Japonesque (Fast Lash: Thickening Fibers @ Amazon $11.02 + free shipping with Prime). I haven’t tried either, so I don’t know how well they work, but the packaging looks better than Essence, and the price looks better than Too Faced on both of these.
