Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette Review & Swatches

Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette ($12.49) is a trio of shades for contouring and adding color to the face. Sleek, y u do this to me? I’m a fool when it comes to contouring and haven’t a clue how to use this.

In all seriousness, how many people contour their face? It can’t be many right? I already have a HUGE AM regime when it comes to makeup, adding contouring to the list sounds like a lot more work!

However, those who do contour you’ll love this nifty little set.

Available in four shade selections from Fair to Dark this palette contains a contouring powder, highlighter, and blush. The Fair and Light shade selections contain Rose Gold Blush which is a lovely golden peach (a la NARS Orgasm) shade where as the Medium and Dark palettes contain a bronzer.

For under $15 dollars you won’t find a nicer contouring set. The colors are all pigmented and with a little know how (know how I do not possess, I’m so unsure where to start with contouring) you can create a perfectly contoured, highlighted, and blushed face in minutes.

The contour powder is a smooth matte shade of dark tan (this doubles up as a bronzer), the highlighting is a sparkling (refined sparkle not chunky glitter) creamy beige (perfect for using as a highbrow highlighter as well), and the blush is a lovely sparkling golden peach. All the powders have a very smooth feel with excellent pigmentation and ease of blending. This Rose Gold Blush seemed to have a better texture than my full size as it blended considerably easier.

Overall, Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette is one to try if contouring is part of your daily regime. Just in case for those who just love the blush can easily purchase it as a full size from Sleek Makeup. The palette isn’t a complete waste for those that don’t contour as you can double the contouring powder up as a bronzer. It’s easy enough to bronze, blush, and highlight face versus contouring so if bronzing is your deal this makes a perfect palette for that as well!

In my photo below I used a little of the highlighter on my cheek bones and the blush on the apples of my cheeks!

Oooooh this look interesting! Similar to the Smashbox one. I need to go ahead and put together a Sleek order.

I love to contour. Ill do that before blush. Well most of the time I just highlight and contour than to put on blush. I like matte blushes and alway use them for the contour. Muse, to contour is to bring out the lovley-ness of your face. Like under the cheek bones and outer parts of the forehead and temples. Give it a try…you’ll like it 🙂

I’m positive I’d overdue it blee ;-D I don’t know the first thing about doing it correctly ;-D might have to youtube some vids!

I don’t contour much because I have my bone structure is pretty pronounced anyway. That said, I like how this palette looks!

I’ve been eyeing this palette since it came out!!! Idea for traveling! Is this the fair or light version you have?

  • LINDARRAGNAR

I love contouring!!!!! Its the best part of makeup!!! lol those shades are really pretty, but I think in all honesty they are abit too shimmery for a true contour!

I really love illamasqua blushes to contour! Muse its ok if you don’t contour its really not necessary, and I think your face is cute enough and doesn’t need it!!!

I was actually looking at buying this, thinking it would be good for travel) and then realised that I have a Sleek contour set (contour and highlight) and a separate Sleek Rose Gold! I shouldn’t be trusted near make up; the pretty just blinds me!

I prefer to highlight & contour, without adding color. My current shades are NARS Nico or Albatross & Zen, respectively. This set looks really nice, and at a great price. I hate online shopping, but I’ve been curious about Sleek for sometime, and I may just have to go for it and put an order together. The highlight shade looks really nice & natural in the photo.

I love contouring! I know you said you can’t get the hang of it, but its quite easy after you do it a few times! I take a matte bronzer with a dense, angled brush and do it under my , cheek bones, my “second chin” fluff (I don’t have a 2nd chin, but yanno), and under my jaw line. Then I take a kabuki and BLEND BLEND BLEND til it looks au natural

I ordered this in fair yesterday! Can’t wait to get it. Matte neutral contour powders are so hard to find. *squee*

Do you know of any other contouring sets that are more easily attainable in the US? I had a compact from MAC that was a limited edition and I’m practically done with it and have no idea what to get next. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  • BooBooNinja

    This looks wonderful.
I’d be all over this if I didn’t have an HG highlighter already.

  • PS

I would like the contour set if it was cream instead of poweder. Does anyone know of a good contour kit that’s cream like, not power?

Muse, I went over to the sleek website and couldn’t figure out whether this palette that you reviewed is the fair or light one?
