Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette Review & Swatches
Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette ($12.49) is a trio of shades for contouring and adding color to the face. Sleek, y u do this to me? I’m a fool when it comes to contouring and haven’t a clue how to use this.
In all seriousness, how many people contour their face? It can’t be many right? I already have a HUGE AM regime when it comes to makeup, adding contouring to the list sounds like a lot more work!
However, those who do contour you’ll love this nifty little set.
Available in four shade selections from Fair to Dark this palette contains a contouring powder, highlighter, and blush. The Fair and Light shade selections contain Rose Gold Blush which is a lovely golden peach (a la NARS Orgasm) shade where as the Medium and Dark palettes contain a bronzer.
For under $15 dollars you won’t find a nicer contouring set. The colors are all pigmented and with a little know how (know how I do not possess, I’m so unsure where to start with contouring) you can create a perfectly contoured, highlighted, and blushed face in minutes.
The contour powder is a smooth matte shade of dark tan (this doubles up as a bronzer), the highlighting is a sparkling (refined sparkle not chunky glitter) creamy beige (perfect for using as a highbrow highlighter as well), and the blush is a lovely sparkling golden peach. All the powders have a very smooth feel with excellent pigmentation and ease of blending. This Rose Gold Blush seemed to have a better texture than my full size as it blended considerably easier.
Overall, Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette is one to try if contouring is part of your daily regime. Just in case for those who just love the blush can easily purchase it as a full size from Sleek Makeup. The palette isn’t a complete waste for those that don’t contour as you can double the contouring powder up as a bronzer. It’s easy enough to bronze, blush, and highlight face versus contouring so if bronzing is your deal this makes a perfect palette for that as well!
In my photo below I used a little of the highlighter on my cheek bones and the blush on the apples of my cheeks!
