Review: Neosporin Essentials Trial Pack for Your Dry Winter Skin

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Show of hands who has dry skin in the Winter (or all year round for that matter!)? You might just want to dish out on the Neosporin Essentials Trial Pack for your dry itchy skin!

This pack includes a body wash, moisturizer, and anti-itch cream for fast relief from dry, flaky winter skin! It’s particularly a great solution for those who suffer from eczema.

Take a peek!

Seriously, everything I use in the winter seems to strip my skin of moisture. From my face cream to my body wash heck even regular old Ivory soap seems to suck the moisture right out of my body. I need to really stay on top of moisturizer in the colder months!

This set is a selection of some of Neosporin essential skincare products for relieving dry skin. It’s particularly a great solution for sensitive skin or those suffering from eczema.

The $10 box includes the following:

  • Neosporin Daily Body Wash 1.8 oz (a gentle body wash that doesn’t strip skin of moisture)
  • Neosporin Daily Moisturizing Cream 1.5 oz (a rich moisturizer that restores skin’s smoothness within three days)
  • Neosporin Anti-Itch Cream 0.3 oz (a cream to relieve itchy, dry skin quickly)

I’m not really one for blogging body creams and such but I’m pretty impressed with this set. I don’t suffer from eczema but my legs get dry enough in the winter that they become incredibly itchy so I like to make sure they are as hydrated as possible. The daily moisturizer cream in this set really does relieve much of that dryness and using the Anti-Itch Cream on flakier areas prevents me from scratching my legs!

Do try it if you’re at your wits end with dry, flaky skin. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how much moisture it restores and the suppleness it supplies to skin.

What’s your solution for dry skin woe?

Do share!

Ugh, dry skin. I have it all year round – but its even worse now that its cold and dry…ick. I tried some Aragan oil mixed with my Suave Cocoa butter moisturizer, and it seems to have helped out a lot. My legs aren’t as alligatory or flakey (ewww) as they normally are. Thats saying a lot, as nothing has helped before 🙂

ugh so know the feeling michelle! that Sauve Cocoa Butter is amazing by the way and so freaking cheap! I used it on a scar I had and I swear it softened up the appearance of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HECK YEAH that is what I put on everywhere after every shower. Sooo perfect – absorbs well, doesn’t leave behind any sliminess, doesn’t rub off my skin later, and keeps it soft and moisturized until my next shower. 😀

I need this! I don’t know what is going on, but my skin is so dry and itchy this winter. I’m tempted to scrap all of my current lotions for some Eucrein today at the drug store.

Aveeno Intense Relief Overnight Cream is also very good for very dry, itchy skin. Very soothing and and absorbs quickly, too. I used to live in a high desert area, so it would be very cold and very dry and would suck all the moisture out of my skin, leaving it with lots of patches of itchy, flaky, scaly dry skin. It would clear up within a couple of days of using the cream at night.

I’ll try looking for that skin cream tonight. I definitely don’t live in a desert climate, but in the winter when its sunny, cold and windy all the moisture is sucked out of the skin.

Thank you both for your recommendations!
