Almay Smart Shade Powder Blush for Spring 2013

Almay Smart Shade Powder Blush
is newly launched for Spring 2013. Although Almay already has a Smart Blush available it’s a cream formula not a powder one so those who prefer powder will want to check these out.

Take a look!

They remind me of Almay’s Smart Shade Pressed Powder a fair bit. Each is $8.69 (at Harmons) and 0.24 oz in size. They supposedly have a self adjusting formula which adjusts to your skin tone and gives you the perfect “you” shade of blush!

Shades:

  • Nude
  • Coral
  • Pink

Coral and Pink are the blush shade where as Nude seems like more of a bronzer color to me. I haven’t tried them yet but I’m quite excited to do so considering how well I liked the pressed powder formula. I’m not sure if I buy into the perfect shade of self adjusting blush as its been done and redone without much success. However, that doesn’t mean I won’t love these….! We’ll see how it goes.

I can’t wait to try them. They look quite interesting to say the least.

I located them at Harmons but CVS, Walgreens, etc…should get them soonish as well I imagine.

Whatcha think?

Anyone see them in their area?

Want to try them?

Do share!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I think they are cute and can’t wait to give them at try, too. Love the poakadots.

I LOVE how much the Smart Shade pressed powder brightens my face, so I can NOT wait to get my hands on the pink blush and see how it works. I’m really hoping it brightens and adds a glow!

Such an adorable design. I wonder if the design goes through the powder or just on the top?

It should go all the way through the powder. I use the Smart Shade pressed powder and have hit pan on a bunch of them and the design goes right through to the end.
