Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick Spring 2013

If anyone was going to excel at a great lipstick formula it would be Sleek Makeup. The new Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick is not only cheap but incredibly pigmented with an incredible formula that’s worthy of a rave.

Available in both matte and sheen finishes this under $7 lipstick is one you’ll want to seek out for your stash!

The new Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick ($6.49) recently launched in twenty different shades, I have a feeling about half of those colors will be in my shopping cart soon (especially Tangerine Scream).

Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick Loved Up

Although I loved it the lipstick released with the Holiday Collection was WAY dry! I can’t speak for the True Colour Lipstick Matte Finish Lipsticks but the single Sheen one I tried is amazing!

This lippie had a buttery almost balm-y like texture with an easy, smooth, and extra soft glide across my lips that produces instant complete coverage on a single swipe. The finish has a slight sheen that looks almost glossy on my lips. Aside from the very beautiful formula I’d say the pigment was the real rave here. This is full coverage lipstick at its best! I tried the shade Loved Up and man, it is super saturated on a single swipe. If you love super pigmented lipsticks needless to say you’ll adore these.

Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick Swatches

Overall, with a virtually weightless formula, a tiny bit of glorious shine, and a ton of pigment I’d say Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick earns a spot on the Muse Approval list.

Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick FOTD
DO get them.

Can’t speak for the matte finishes but the sheens are amazing!

Love!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. i’m so excited for these! is there any kind of discount code coming up that you know of — it sure helps with the cost of mailing to the U.S. thanks for the great review. i’ve been reading you since the beginning I think!

    • the Muse

thanks Lisa for the long time readership!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 I don’t know of one but I’ll speak to Sleek see what they say. Any friends/fams who love makeup? maybe split the cost of shipping?

      • Lisa

Sadly, I’m surrounded by the no make up, make up gals. I’m the only one who is obsessive compulsive about these things. But thanks for checking on it for me!! I was able to get in on the 20% off sales last time. Hvae a great weekend. By the way, I had commented on the Theo palette, and I’ve worn it all week, different ways. Unexpectedly I love the gold color which I thought I would like least. It takes experimentation doesnt it??

ugh me too lisa my friends suck lol! ;-D how about a makeup forum? reddit has one? mua? maybe gather a few virtual friends and do a group order together ;-D If not will def ask sleek about any deals upcoming ;-D (I’m just getting to comments, sorry if I didn’t reply on the theo yet 🙂 I agree! the gold on the inner lid and the black on the outer makes for a really dramatic eye look ;-D fun times! So glad you love this palette, I do too! such great shades!

This looks so pretty on you! I’m not familiar with this line, but the prices are wonderful ,and your description makes me want it! Does it have an aroma or taste? That can really make it unpleasant.

  • Jane

Hi Muse, what lippie shade are you wearing in this review? Is it Fuschia or Loved Up? How does it compare to Girl About Town and Schiap? Thanks 🙂

    • the Muse

  • Carole
