About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

You know this morning has been a bust, I might just cruise on over to their site and grab a little pick me up!

Morning of tiny nuisances. Every little thing has to have something tiny wrong before it can be handled. But the big thing is that I came into work this morning to an email saying our awesome Director of Ops is no longer with the company. No explanation, no goodbye, just gone. So it’s just an off kinda day.

aw sorry to hear my dear! hope it is better now….! WEIRD! who just leaves there job in this economy?!

I wandered over to the Too Faced site after seeing this post. It keeps crashing from so much traffic. :0

Thanks for the info and whoa 20% that’s awesome. I’m liking the heart blush, very pretty!

What’s your opinion on the Boudoir Eyes palette? I’m thinking about getting it, but couldn’t find your review.

    • the Muse

let I have it but haven’t tried it yet, I imagine I’ll love it as I’ve always adored their boxed palettes before, typically the shadows are pigmented have a creamy velvety texture and blend easily ;-D if you check back through the archives you’ll see older reviews for the box shadows.

No worries Muse! I do have last year’s summer palette and while it’s nice, the highlight colors made me a bit wary. The Sephora near my place hasn’t had the tester for the palette, so I can’t swatch either.

oh don’t compare the two let, the summer palette was quite sheerer…these def have WAY better pigment.
