Bare Escentuals Ready Blush The Natural High

You NEED to get your hands on the new Bare Escentuals The Natural High Ready Blush which was released with the Bare Escentuals Remix Spring 2013 Collection. You love NARS Orgasm? Love Tarte Glisten? The Natural High will be your new best friend forever.

Get it.

Don’t bother read the rest of the post.

Ok, read it if you must.

I said it before I’ll happily say it again I do not own enough golden peach blushes. Bare Minerals released this shimmering shade of golden coral peachy pink with their Spring 2013 but it has been around the block before. Check your stash as if you’re an avid QVC shopper you might already own it from one of BE’s auto deliver shipments.

As luck would have it I don’t own it but so glad I do now. I need a backup or twenty.

Bare Escentuals The Natural High Ready Blush Swatches

This isn’t a spot on dupe for Orgasm (orgasm is a shade lighter with less glow) but it is a variation of the color. Anything thing with pink peach and gold that glistens has my name written all over it. This gives cheeks a healthy warm glow that will be universally flattering on many skin tones.

I think the nicest aspect of the color is the true to pan finish on cheeks. The color just translates well and what you see is exactly what you get on your face. It’s finely milled, highly pigmented, and applies and blends out all dreamy-like. This is my first experience with Ready Blush and I had heard a few negative reviews about them but I’m VERY pleased with both the formula and the color here.

I follow the religion of NARS Orgasm for many a fine year but I can easily say that the Natural High is a superior shade. It’s golden peach pink goodess on steroids.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. You’re making me want this, and I’m not a big Ready fan (I only use the luminizers and the shadows/liners). I’m wondering what loose BE blushes I have that might come close, or that I can adapt.
