Sephora Pastel Pop Color Adapt Blush Stick

I don’t typically like stick blushes but I’m all over the new Sephora Pastel Pop Color Adapt Blush ($14) this week. This is one of those “perfect shades” of blush that reacts and adjusts to the pH of your skin to create your perfect shade of pink.

Meh…you know how I feel about color adapting makeup right? Good, we don’t need to rehash.

On the up side…loving this very cute, wearable shade of pink blusher!

Sephora Pastel Pop Color Adapt Blush Spring 2013

Yay Sephora! Props for creating an ultra portable stick blush with a long wearing easy to apply formula. This formula is much like Tarte’s so if you’re a lover of their blush sticks you’ll adore the Sephora one.

This is a transparent gel stick that contains moisturizing açaí oil, cherry extract, and safflower seed oil. These oils indtimated me at first as I was worried this would be greasy but it actually has a lightweight texture that leaves a dewy finish behind with a touch of hot pink on cheeks.

Sephora Pastel Pop Color Adapt Blush Swatches

Don’t worry, hot pink sounds cra but it isn’t. The color gives a natural just been kissed flush to cheeks that’s very wearable and pretty for most skin tones. Although I’d warn you against it if your cheeks are naturally ruddy as the color might not look as nice.

I found it blended easily, had a very natural finish, and wore for a solid four hours before showing some fading into hour five. That’s kinda unheard of for gel blushes for me as they typically waste away rather quickly.

If you’re looking for a just been kissed or just out of the color flushing shade of pink the Sephora Pastel Pop Color Adapt Blush will lend that pink to your cheeks. It’s a perfect natural look!

Do like!

It’s available now at Sephora and Sephora.com

Wow! I love this type of pink – looks so pretty on you and natural looking too. I’ve never tried any of Sephora’s line actually – since we don’t have it here in the UK (yet) but I can’t wait to grab one of these when I get to visit the US soon – the price isn’t bad as well. Thanks for sharing! I love handy blushes like this 🙂

I can hardly see the shirt but from what is visible it is really pretty. Love the lacing 🙂

I’d probably use it as tinted lip balm instead of as blush.

Looks so pretty on you, Muse! Do you swipe it directly on your cheeks? Can it be used for lips too? I’m hitting sephora tomorrow so will take a look . Thanks as always for your excellent reviews 🙂 PS-what r u wearing on your lips? It looks great!

s you can prob use on your mouth if you want but I don’t love the idea of using on mouth and cheeks and vice/versa ;-D I swiped directly from the tube and clean off with a makeup wipe after ;-D oh thanks S, review on that tonight, It’s the Teddy Berry Le Creme from Too Faced 😀

Ooh. I had my eye on this when I was in the store and thought to myself that I’d just gamble and wait for your review! So, thanks!! haha. Glad I waited, since I have a super ruddy Scottish face so maybe I’ll pass on this… or just buy the Tarte tube blushes since that’s what I’ve been lemming lately.

Funny how Sephora seems to be upping their game in their house products. There have been so many more quality products that they’ve been putting out lately. =)

it might might might be too much if you have redness in your cheeks already trish 🙂 I agree! typically sephora is hit and miss but lately they are doing good ;D
