Yes to Grapefruit Dark Spot Correcting Body Creme

Yes to Grapefruit Dark Spot Correcting Body Creme ($9.99) promises to be the perfect pick to minimize skin imperfections while visibly diminishing the appearance of dark spots in four weeks!

I don’t really have dark spots on my body though but the idea of this is intriguing. Plus I want t stand on a soap box like Benny Hinn and just start preaching, “SAY YES TO GRAPEFRUIT! Be gone dark spots, I cast thee out! Embrace the grapefruit be gone with those damn spots! You’re HEALED bitches!”

Ok, I got a little carried away but late night with Benny Hinn is the bomb-a-orangutang. Man could sell me snow on a hot Summer day and I’d buy it.

But about that Yes to Grapefruit Dark Spot Correcting Body Creme….

Yes to Grapefruit Dark Spot Correcting Body Creme is a tart, sparkling grapefruit scented body cream with a rich, thick texture that moisturizes skin on contact. This is thick, creamy, and quick to absorb into skin and leaves my rough elbows, knees, and legs super soft after use with a delicate tart grapefruit scent that lingers in the background.

Supposedly the formula attacks age spots, sun spots, and hyper pigmentation. The cream is formulated with masterwort and capsicum fruit extract to repair skin imperfections while grapefruit extract wars of free radicals and argan oil helps to fade spots.

After receiving this I kinda had to check around my body and see if I had any discolorations but I don’t. So I’m wondering if it’ll help with a minor scar I have on my ankle as this is slightly discolored. Hmmm! I’m using it daily for the past two weeks but I prob need more time to see what happens.

If nothing else it’s a rich body cream with excellent hydrating benefits.

Hi Muse! In your opinion, what’s the best dark spot cream you’ve tried? I’m looking for some help on dark acne scars. Thanks!

    • the Muse

I don’t have acne scarring kasey but do have some sort of sun damage on my jaw line, kinda dark spots, the best I’ve tried and helped was the Philosophy Dark Spot Corrector. It faded them slightly and also just brightened up my entire face. I use it regularly (PM) and have had great results. Reviewed it a while back ago.

I’ve been using the Vichy Proeven Dark Spot Corrector for about a year now and I LOVE it. I used to have pretty bad acne scarring on both of my cheeks and it’s lightened them so much that even using the sheerest foundation pretty much makes them invisible.
It’s a bit pricy at $45 for 1 oz., but it’s worth it.

If you have a CVS that sells it near you, you can probably ask their Beauty Dept. Manager for a few samples to try it out first!

thanks chica I’ll try it out! I do indeed have a cvs with a beauty dept.

i think i’ll pick this one up. i’m pretty self-concious about my forearms…the sunspots make my arms look 20 years older than they are! can’t pass up the price

I was trying to look on my body but I don’t really have any spots outside of beauty marks here and there…but I doubt that will fade those 😀

  • Kiss & Make-up

I don’t have any spots or discoloration on my body so that kinda defeats the purpose of this body cream I guess, but I have to admit that the texure looks good and that the scent sounds lovely.

  • Ryou

I have terribly discolored knees from years of aikido practice. (rug burn scars, basically) I doubt anything short of hydroquinone would fix it, though! >:

You’re HEALED bitches! OMG Muse I am dying laughing here, so damn funny!!!

I just started using the serum, eye cream and face scrub. It’s too soon to notice any difference. I got all three for $19.99 on their website. Price was too good to pass up. The eye cream feels nice, smells too grapefruity to me, but I hate the smell of grapefruit. Maybe I shouldn’t have purchased LOL! The serum is ok, feels a little gummy, takes a while to soak in. An the scrub is nice, but I was surprised by how watery it is. Not like the usual scrubs from St. Ives that I’m uses to.

    • the Muse

lol angel at least someone laughed ;-D hey, good deal! I am in the process of testing those too…! haven’t dug in yet tbh! I hope they brighten at the least ;D

  • Liz Cat

Hi Muse, long time no comment! I’ve noticed that there is other Liz’s so i’m sure you wont know which one was me, but now I’m going to add part of my middle name in (Catherine), so maybe we can get some distinguishing in within the “Liz’s Who Comment on Muse Community” 🙂

But this sounds PERFECT for me! I’ve been looking for a new body cream, and one that corrects dark spots?? I have discoloration, especially around my ankles and calves, but if i can moisturize with a delicious grapefruit scent i’ll be happy even without any results.

    • the Muse

hey Liz 😀 thanks for that it does get confusing sometimes 😀 I was kinda trying to figure out if I had any discolorations on my legs or anything but hey, at least I get a cool body cream out of the deal ;D

  • Jade

I will actually be keen to try this, I have discolouration on my legs from eczema scarring, plus I find my legs just look uneven in tone… I’m tall too and have (I think) nice shaped legs… but my skintone!! I have to moisturise everyday anyway, so next time I spy this, I will pick it up!
