About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but those pictures are awful at showing the makeup. I know MAC is artsy and all that, but truly her makeup looks orange, with muddy eyes, LOL. When looking at the line without the artist interpretation most of it looks fun, and bright. Not that anyone cares what a midwestern mother thinks, but….these pictures are just baffeling from a makeup point of view.

Ok I feel better, had to share my rant…..

    • reena

i agree! they do have some very strange ads! and the models have scary expressions sometime

  • Cj

Promo images need more shirtless men. I don’t know about you but I’m definitely more likely to buy something in this collection now…

    • the Muse

lol….I dunno about you hubby 🙂 sex obviously sells it to you!

    • Cindy Ramirez

Um, have you drooled over those kinda recent Versace adds where everyone looks godly? Oh. Man.

  • kimkats

Powerchrome eye pencils? Are these shadows or liners, or both? Dang – coupla those would make awesome liners (if that’s not what they are -not sure) Those are new, no? Purty stuff!

      • Denzen

Not much of a MAC fan (except for the lipsticks) but the Powerchrome eye pencils look like they are reallyyyy fun to use! 🙂 I definitely have to get a couple when the collection launches 😀

  • Jaz

Dear God, please PLEASE please let this collection be good and not crap! I want 3 of the lipglasses, and the eyeliner. OH I want the blushes too.

  • Joy

I’m definitely getting that bronze Strobe liquid and some of the lip stuff. Imagine that golden Strobe liquid mixed in with a tinted moisturizer in the summer. JUST IMAGINE IT!! Oh boy, time to put in some overtime at work…

  • Suzanne

Omg, the Pro Longwear bronzers are back! Sun Dipped is my absolute favorite bronzer ever and I was worried about running out! Time for backups!

  • ZG

The lipsticks and eye shadows are looking mighty fine to me.. oh and the boys do not hurt the ad either..

  • Jennifer

While the picture for the ad is really, really strange, these don’t look like bad products. I’ve never had a bad experience with Mac so far, so I’ll trust them. I just want those lipsticks and eyeliners…

joan sometimes they randomly restock so don’t be discouraged hun! I can check macys here if you like!

  • Joan

I am so annoyed to say the least. I received an e-mail from Mac that the new Temperatures Rising collection was now available on their website. I immediately went on to the website to order the peach blush and it was already SOLD OUT. Can’t believe this. This is why I have become very disillusioned with Mac products and their Limited Editions. I guess I’ll wait for Nordstrom’s website to have it and order from them. That’s what happened in the past. They are more reliable and free shipping and returns with no minimum. Anyone else have this problem?
