Nature Republic Tweety Pact Review & Swatches

Nature Republic Tweety Pact 2

The new Nature Republic Tweety Collection sure is darling so of course, I jumped at the chance to purchase the Tweety Pact Facial Powder.

Seriously, how can I not own a compact featuring Tweety’s little face? I couldn’t say no!

Housed in a bright yellow compact featuring Tweety bird’s darling little face this cute little Nature Republic Pact launched recently in Korea. The Nature Republic Tweet Pact contains an SPF 20 and comes in two shade selections.

Isn’t the inside of the box too cute?

The formula promises to control oil and mattify skin with a downy soft, “fluffy” texture. The powder has smiling Tweety embossing which I had a hard time brushing into when I originally got the palette as it isn’t deeply embedded so a few swipes from a brush and it’ll disappear rather quickly! Sad sigh!

The powder itself is your standard, everyday Asian pact powder formula. It has a soft almost velvety texture with a bit of a powdery consistency. It’s a heavier powder at first but it blends out to a lighter finish with the included powder puff. It does soak up excess oil and minimizes the appearance of pores as well while setting makeup. It’s sheerer but does have enough of pigment that you can easily use it as a powder foundation should you want.

I choose the darker of the two shades, 23, and this actually too light for me so beware if you purchase that the shades run quite light.

I dunno if the powder itself is anything to write home about since it is fairly basic and very much like many other Asian powder pacts. The really special part is obviously the cute packaging. Who can resist that?

I got mine for $12 from E-bay seller F2Plus1 which is as close to retail as you’ll get online (I am NOT affiliated with this seller).

I purchased this item.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Lol I was going to get this (solely for aesthetic reasons), but I already have a ton of other powders that I need to finish up. I need to go on a shopping ban *sigh*

Hmmmm… Wonder if a person could pop out the powder pan and replace it with a different one of a different brand? Do you know the measurement of the pan? I could jump all over that Tweety thing! He’s just so flippin’ adorable (and SUCH a litte e$hit!!) 😀

Aw poop T___T it’s so cute but I’m definitely a darker shade than you so it wouldn’t match me 🙁

I actually need Bugs Bunny makeup because my husband was a big Looney Toons fan as a child 😛

That is so cute! I love birds; I regret not purchasing Tweety inspired perfume when they had it in Sephora.

Oops! I somehow missed this. Sorry! I looked it up and the perfume was first released in 2008. I think this may have been when I first saw it in Sephora. Later on, it was in Winners (our version of TJ Mexx/Marshalls) but I neglected to obtain it there too. :/
