Nature Republic Tweety Lovely Mask Review
I recently purchased the Nature Republic Tweety Lovely Mask Set on E-bay. The set includes 7 facial sheet masks for $10 plus $2 to ship so I thought it was a rather good deal.
I adore a good facial sheet mask and bringing Tweety into it, well, I had to have all that cuteness for my own.
Take a look!
The set includes in a variety of formulas which include:
- Tomato (smoother skin)
- Kiwi (improves elasticity)
- Banana (nutrients)
- Apple (hydrating )
- Lemon (blemish skin)
- Grape (moisturizing)
- Orange (brightens)
I HATE myself for buying products like this because I just want to stick them in my beauty vault and never use them. I have to admit though since starting Musings of a Muse I’ve become less and less obsessive about my beauty products and “ruining” them. I’ve really embraced the “use it” frame of mine because seriously, that’s why we buy skincare, makeup, and beauty products right? You only live once so break out that Givenchy palette you have stashed in your vault! Dip your shadow brush into that limited edition palette that cost a year’s worth of college tuition. Screw it. Just use it and be happier for it.
So yeah, it was a little difficult cracking into these but I did it. Pats on the back welcome thank you very much!
They come in a bright yellow box featuring Tweety. Inside each mask is individually wrapped with Tweety’s little image gracing the packaging. I thought it was cute because each mask has a different Tweety image with a different veggie or fruity. The entire inside of the box also has Looney Tune characters printed on it.
You don’t really need the masks though if you aren’t a hardcore Tweety fan because they actually aren’t all that fab. I’ve used two so far, the Grape and Orange, and wasn’t terribly impressed. They aren’t heavily saturated with essence and they leave face a little sticky after use. The Orange formula is meant to whiten and brighten while the Grape moisturizes. Both provide ok moisture but I didn’t really notice any brightening from the Orange formulation.
They are made from a sturdy, thicker cotton than My Scheming and My Beauty Diary Masks. They have a fairly good fit and aren’t too smaller or too big nor do they have holes for the eyes, mouth, and face that are too big or ill fitting.
Overall, these rely on cuteness more than actually quality. Hey, sometimes that happens…I’m still glad I purchased them! 🙂
The entire Tweet Collection is available from E-bay seller F2PLUS1 (not affiliated).
