Avon Elements Moisture Boost Eye Cream Review

I purchased this item.

Avon Elements Moisture Boost Eye Cream

Avon Elements Moisture Boost Eye Cream is part of the new Elements Moisture Skincare Collection. The eye cream might seem a bit familiar and that would be because it comes from the same collection as the Avon Elements Moisture Boost Night Gel Cream that I recently review.

Although I didn’t get on very well with the Night Gel Cream I was eager to test out the eye cream. I have drier eyes so anything that says “moisture” and “boost” in the same sentence excites me.

Let’s take a look!

Avon Elements Moisture Boost Eye Cream is so affordable at $7.99 you just really wish it would work. Imagine an eye cream under ten bucks that would deliver enough moisture that your drier eyes would take a step back and breath a sigh of relief? Well these aging eyes aren’t breathing any sighs but I will say this isn’t too shabby either.

This gentle eye cream is formulated with Sea Oak Complex that acts to boost your own natural moisture levels. The formula is a thicker, richer eye cream but it still absorbs easily under eyes. It does have a fresh aquatic fragrance which worries me as around your eye area you might be a bit sensitive so fragrance of any kind in an eye cream is a big no. It didn’t irritate me in all honesty but still I’m not sure I like the idea of fragrance in an eye cream.

For something entitled moisture boost one would expect some intense hydration. This delivers moisture but not nearly the amount I’d get from my PM eye cream (Philosophy Miracle Worker Eye Cream). I’ve taken to using it in the day as it provides much more moisture than my daily eye cream and wears well under concealer creating a smooth well hydrated under eye area for concealer.

Avon Elements Moisture Boost Eye Cream Swatches

It’s not going to win any awards for treating finer lines or puffiness nor is it supposed to but for adding extra moisture it works fairly well. It is however, fairly budget friendly if you’re looking for something to add moisture, ease the way for your concealer, and remain light enough to wear in the day yet hydrating enough to keep finer lines at bay due to dryness.

I purchase it directly from Avon’s website at shop.avon.com

What’s the most hydrating eye cream you’ve ever used?

This sounds interesting, and worth a shot.

I am still on the hunt for a great eye cream. I am always looking for more moisture. lately I have been using Reviva Labs Firming Eye Serum with Alpha Lipoic Acid Vitamin C Ester and DMAE which I loved it enough to buy a 2nd bottle, not sure if it is actually doing anything, but things haven’t gotten worse, and I layer it with L’Oreal Age Perfect Hydra Nutrition golden eye balm patted on my under eye area.

Maybe one day, I will find one cream that does the job.

Shikaki I do not know if I am spelling it right, but I love their moisturizer and eye cream from Lucky Vitamins, the Borage line! It isn’t terribly expensive either, and a little goes a long way, keeps the drier parts of my 60 year old eye area and combo/ skin moisturized without, feeling heavy!
