About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This would make for a beautiful accent nail!

I’m very proud, my nails are the longest they have been in about a year. I’ve been taking better care of them. We’ll see how long that lasts with the upcoming holiday season. :B They’ll either break off or I’ll be stressed and bite them down to lil’ nubs.

I am a biter all the way! I have no willpower! I nibble and nibble and nibble. disgusting habit.

I tend to be too, so I try and keep a fresh mani on so I go “Oh they look to nice to bite.”

*Comments first on all new posts* Can you tell how I like to spend my day off? <3

that won’t stop me lol! 😀 I’ll bite anyway! 😀 and you should totes not say anything else but “First comment!” like those freaks on yahoo and OMGZ ;-D lol!

I bit mine for something like 20 years, to the point that I damaged the nail beds. I finally broke myself of the habit, but they grow out funny, so I tend to keep them short.

The one time I tried Butter London, maybe 5 years ago, I found that the polish applied in a gloppy, uneven manner. I thought it was just because of the three free thing, but I’ve never had that problem with brands like Zoya.

I do love their Melt Away cuticle remover though.

I’ve always wanted to try the melt away cuticle remover…does it smell nice?

I wouldn’t say nice, but it’s not offensive or anything. It works quite well, without being overly harsh.
