L’Oreal Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Colour Review & Swatches
L’Oreal Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Colour is one of two new pencil lip colors that L’Oreal recently introduced which will be available for a limited time. Yesterday I reviewed the Le Matte version of this pencil which I really liked but I must say the L’Oreal Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Colour is even better!
This is a color rich lip pencil that will blow your socks off with the pigment!
It’s a terrible shame L’Oreal Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Colour is limited edition and only available in a few shades as this is a great lip pencil. I think the good news is sometimes products like this get an LE launch but later make an appearance as a larger launch come the Spring. So I’m keeping hope alive that both L’Oreal La Lacquer and Le Matte Lip Colours get a more wider launch comes Spring 2014.
At a glance I thought these were click style lipgloss pens but they are actually swivel up lip color pencils with a slanted tip for application. The La Lacque formula is so dubbed due to the nicely glossy finish the colors provide. I tried two shades one of which had a rather nice high glossiness and the other more of a high sheen but none the less both gave the appearance of a shiny finish without the added effort of gloss application.

You can both line and shade with these as the point is precise enough to do so. I find they glide on easily and provide opaque coverage on a single stroke. The pigmentation is excellent. I find they wear well for at least five hours straight with a very comfortable lightweight texture. As they fade they leave behind a nice staining effect as well. The shades are intense but I never had an issue with it migrating or feathering on my drier lips. Interestingly enough these do have L’Oreal’s traditional flavor and fragrance which is far from subtle. I say interesting because the Le Matte version of the pencil did not have a flavor or a fragrance. Odd!
Overall, L’Oreal Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Colour should be a crowd pleaser! My only compliant would be the lack of shades and the limited edition factor but all in all a most excellent lip pencil!
