It’s pricey but the Bobbi Brown old Hollywood Mini Brush Set ($70) contains some fab travel essentials in a gold wallet for easy travel! This travel set of brushes launched with the Bobbi Brown Holiday 2013 Collection and will be available for a limited time so if you’re wanting it best snap it up quickly!
Bobbi’s brushes are pretty expensive so when she releases smaller brush sets like this it gives you a little taste of what you’ll experiencing with her full size. For me, I can’t leave without her domed blush brush! It’s possibly the best facial brush I’ve ever used and the single item that I use daily without cheating (and believe me it’s easy to cheat when you have a brush collection as large as mine).

The nice thing about the set is you’re getting four (five since the Smokey Eyeshadow Brush is dual sided) essential brushes that you’ll use daily. Too many times brush sets include brushes I’ll never use like a spoolie…really? But this contains essentials you’ll use daily to create eye looks or sweep on powder and blush!
The brushes are very well made and equivalent to their full size versions. Soft bristles, shed free, and weighty handles make up each brush. You’re not getting flimsy, lightweight brushes here for your cash!
Also included is a gold wallet which has two pockets for stashing the brushes and if you like a lipstick or gloss for travel.
As Bobbi’s fan girl I must be honest and say it is a little costly at $70! Ouch! I’d shave this one down the $50 and that would make it just perfect (I would pay $10 per each of these brushes as they are good quality however, at $70 the price is a too high).
