Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream 3

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream ($48) will possibly be the best moisturizer you run across for drier skin this upcoming Winter season.

This rich cream harnesses the powder of microcapsule ceramides to hydrate skin and allows it to retain moisture.

Take a peek!

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream

If you have oily skin rejoice as you’ll likely retain your youthful glow well into your 40’s and 50’s however, if you suffer from drier skin you’ll likely experience the signs of aging far quicker.

I personally look rather tired and dull if I’m not constantly keep my skin as hydrated as possible. I’ve developed my own regime that I religiously follow so that I keep my skin as hydrated as possible and it makes my job all the easier when I run across solid, quality products like the new Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream. I’ve already raved the Ceramidin Liquid so allow me to bend your ear further about the joys of the cream to accompany the liquid!

I think you need not apply if you suffer from oily skin as this is a rather rich moisturizing cream. Although Dr Jart recommends it for daily use I would use it as a nightly treatment as it produces quite a fair bit of moisture. The cream has pretty instant and visible results. Skin looks smoother, feels more supple and softer, and you can visibly feel how it retains moisture. Any moisturizer can provide hydration but so few kept help your skin to retain that moisture and this does exactly that.

Might I say it’s even too moisturizing for Summer or even Fall use…this one is best for me in the Winter when my skin starts to dehydrate and get flaky and patchy. The more moisture my duller complexion gets the better it looks and the glow-er so moisturizers like this are an excellent source of restoring the glow to my skin while giving it a brighter, healthier finish easing the dull, tired look I sometimes have due to my drier skin.

The texture is a richer cream that absorbs easily. It quite reminds me of the consistency of Vitacreme B12. Do keep in mind that it does have a lovely scent but that scent is quite strong for those sensitive to fragrance in their skincare.

If you have issues with drier skin I highly suggest checking this out. Your complexion will thank you! It provides much needed moisture immediately and allows your skin to retain that hydration!

Loves it!

I just bought this three days ago, Muse! Recently, I’ve been using the Ceramidin liquid almost daily! My skin has been going through the weirdest dry spell and I’m not sure if it’s because of the seasonal change but it’s gone from combination to normal/dry! Even my typical winter moisturizer wasn’t doing it so I went and bought this (along with the Face Finishing Moisturizer by Perricone which went back for the Goat Milk Cream by Kate Somerville instead).

I am sooo loving this. It’s intensely moisturizing, you’re definitely right about that. I think as soon as my skin becomes a bit more normal again, I’m going to stick with this as a once a week treatment, probably on the weekends. When paired with the liquid, it’s so potent! I only use very little of this, probably pea-sized and it’s enough for my whole face. The moisture retention was seriously amazeballs because when I woke the next morning and applied my foundation, it applied so smoothly and easily! I didn’t even need much concealer :p

It smells nice too, herbal-y but not overly so. Also, I googled for the cream reviews and etc and oh my goodness, in S.Korea, they seem to have a huge tub ver of this called Ceramidin LIGHT cream. Dear Skin Gods above, please sell this in the US soon!!

libby they also have a new body cream of this available which I recently asked a friend to get me from Korea! JOY ;-D my rough knees and elbows are crying in excitement 😀 so happy it worked as well for you as it did for me and I couldn’t agree more it is very very very potent so a small amount goes a very long way! I can’t wait for the cold weather to get here as this will be a welcome relief for my skin 😀

can’t really compare marie this is a cream hada labo is a toner/lotion you’ll be using prior to any other skincare products.

Marie, what was recently reviewed by the Muse is the toner. There is also a moisture milk and a cream that comes in a pot. Increasingly thicker & richer in that order. For purposes of comparison, its probably the cream that comes closest to this Dr Jart product. This is just speculation though – I’m using the Hada Labo but haven’t tried the Dr Jart.

In terms of effectiveness, that would depend on what your skin needs. The hyaluronic acid in Hada Labo functions to hold moisture. The ceramides in the Dr Jart would be particularly useful if you are trying to rebuild a moisture barrier that’s been compromised.

      Hope that helps 🙂

I just got this in a Mystery Sample Pack from Birchbox with a purchase. So, I was happy to find this timely review on it! I am excited to try this, but I have normal to combination skin so this mAy be too moisturizing for me. 🙁

I’m on my second tube after receiving a sample from Birchbox. Love this stuff! Keeps my 40+ skin soft all day long, without going all oily.

I used up a sample of this and I’m so in love. It really helps with irritations and bumps that I’d get from dehydration.

Hi, I need help please, i’d like to know if the tube has a plastic or aluminium protective seal inside. I just bought mine and it doesn’t have any protective seal, so I’m wondering if it’s new. I bought it from sephora jc penny
