Coastal Scents Au Natural Eyeshadow Review and Swatches

coastal scents eyeshadow

I’ve been hauling out all my gold shadows and I admit I purchased Coastal Scents Au Natural Eyeshadow recently as well for some Holiday looks. There’s something about gold during the Holidays! Just as traditional as red lipstick eh?

Like I needed another gold shadow but this one was too good to pass up!

Take a look!

There are so many e-tailer mineral companies around at the moment I feel overwhelmed. I always tell myself that I will NOT get involved with any of them because I see myself become terribly addicted and wanting to haul every single that these companies put out. And let’s face it some of them even rival brands like Urban Decay and Make Up For Ever in terms of selection!

But since I’ve been exploring Coastal Scents lately this little eyeshadow (and maybe several others) fell into my cart. I was surprised at the price as this contains 0.08 oz for a mere $4.95. I’ve seen quite a few Etsy and etailers who sell the same or smaller shadows for a bit more.

I’m really into soft shades lately and this is a pretty golden beige sparkle. It’s light and simple! It creates a nice wash of shimmer on lids with a lighter beige base and pairs up beautifully with a red lipstick (I’m wearing the new Sonia Kashuk Matte Red Lipstick below) or if you want to go a little more daring with your liner. Of course, it is a loose shadow so a base of some sort will lessen fall out during application! I like using a little Maybelline Just Beige Color Tattoo Eyeshadow to give it something to stick to!

If you’re a on budget this is a nice way to pick up a very generously sized shadow for less!
