Josie Maran Escape to Morocco Argan Luscious Lips Set

Josie Escape to Morocco Argan Luscious Lips Set ($47) contains five Josie Maran Argan High Gloss Lip Quenches Lipglosses in a variety of shades. I know, $47 is a little high for a gloss set considering there are some monster gloss sets available at the moment that are far less with far more product.

But do you want more for less or do you want quality?

Because this gloss set brings quality to the table.

Josie Maran Escape to Morocco Argan Luscious Lips Set 61

Josie Escape to Morocco Argan Luscious Lips Set is a selection of luxuriously formulated glosses that contain argan, jojoba, and buriti oils. I have a ton of favorite gloss formulas and a ton of gloss sets I love from the Holiday releases but none are as moisturizing as this selection of Argan High Gloss Lip Quenches Lipglosses.

How nice is to get super shine, a hint of tint, a non-sticky formula, AND a formula that treats as you wear it. My lips are a bit chapped at the moment and dry and this formula is like a hydrating lip oil that soothes, softens, and hydrates. The glosses are infused with argan-oil so they are super moisturizing.

You get the following shades (0.3 oz):

  • 2 x Argan High Gloss Lip Quenches in Liquid Gold
  • Argan High Gloss Lip Quench in Pink Honey
  • Argan High Gloss Lip Quench in Strawberry Nectar
  • Argan High Gloss Lip Quench in Maple Sugar

These have a lemon-y scent and flavor aside from Pink Honey which has a mint taste and fragrance. The gloss formula is thinner with a highly glossy finish. There isn’t any tackiness or stickiness here which means they wear a shorter time at around two to three hours. The clear shade is a beautiful way to add a high lacquer-like finish to bolder lipsticks. The tinted shades are quite pigmented especially Stawberry Nectar which has a fairly opaque finish as you can see in my photos.

I love how shiny this gloss is, I love the taste, I love the tint, but most of all I love how soothing these are on my dry, chapped lips!

All the moisture and treatment I need to heal my dry lips and the benefits of a great gloss formula.

Love this set.

Ohhhh! I think I’m going to grab the Escape to Morocco set from Sephora, which includes the original clear/gold shade. I LOVE how Argan oil works for my skin and hair so I’m definitely going to have to give it a shot!

I rec’d Pink Honey in a skin care set and I was impressed too! Very moisturizing. I wouldn’t mind this whole set!

  • Diane

I absolutely LOVE these, however, I’m hesitant to purchase because I have one from about a year ago that I haven’t finished and it now smells rancid! I know I’d never use all of these within a year so I don’t know about the shelf life

  • Janelle

Sold! Still hunting for lip care for my chronically chapped/peeling lips. These seem fun and I have my fingers crossed

I bought the escape to Morocco set with the illiumizer, color stick gloss and oil. And i gotta say, I didn’t buy the set expecting much out of the gloss but wow was I wrong!

The pink honey is so flattering and moisturizing! I love the minty raspberry lemonade smell going on with the gloss! It is plush and moisturizing, and the best part not sticky!!

I have no money anymore ;'( so I can’t buy this set but the liquid gold color looks like so much fun!! And the price isn’t horrible!

Oh wow.. These look to die for. Very nice. I like to have glosses that moisturize. Is that yellow clear one similar to the aquaphina lip oils? Those are very nice and moisturizing as well 🙂

I just ordered this set to split up between my niece and I. Can’t wait to recieve it; this -10F cold weather and wind chills between -25F and -30F are really doing a number on my lips as well as my niece’s, so any relief for either of us at this point will be welcome! 🙂

      • Nicole

I will let you know how they work for us! ;D
I also ordered a large holiday set by Josie Maran that includes her sugar scrub, hand cream, body butter, and body oil. It has 2 of everything except the body oil so I am splitting that up with my niece as well. 🙂

awwww you’re a GREAT aunt 😀 I hope you guys like everything! her hand cream is awesome! enjoy dear! You’ll be nice and hydrated through the Winter!

We LOVE them! 🙂 My niece has the liquid gold and the pink honey (FYI she is only 12 years old so I wanted to give her the age appropriate shades) and I have the liquid gold, maple sugar, strawberry nectar, and in another set I picked up a pink honey for me too. With my fair completion I figured the strawberry nectar would just sit in my drawer; I reach for it quite a bit when we go out in the evening for dinner! It actually seems to bring out my green eyes. 🙂
My niece said they have really helped soften her lips. She has very severe eczema so dry skin is a problem for her.
Anyway, we are enjoying them and if you have dry sensitive lips these are worth a try and worth the money because they are gorgeous and really work! 🙂
